The group of videos made public through the Loevy & Loevy law firm includes footage from agents who responded to controversial arrest operations in the Little Village and Irving Park neighborhoods.
U.S. District Judge Sara Ellis ordered the 43 videos released after she relied heavily on them in issuing a preliminary injunction last week restricting the use of tear gas and other chemical munitions by agents on the public and media.
In her 233-page opinion, Ellis wrote that, over and over, body-worn camera footage from the agents undermined what was eventually put in their use-of-force reports, rendering their statements unreliable.
The reports also misidentified “neighborhood moms and dads, Chicago Bears fans, people dressed in Halloween costumes, and the lawyer who lives on the block” as professional agitators, Ellis wrote, while the body cameras at times captured the agents’ apparent glee in deploying tear gas and other munitions on residential streets.

Congresswoman Lauren Underwood released a statement about the conditions at Broadview
Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.
Underwood's press release also highlighted several concerns;
The facility previously operated Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. but now runs seven days a week with significant overtime and plans for a third shift. She was informed that contracted officers at Broadview work for Paragon, which also supplies contracted personnel to the Federal Building in downtown Chicago and the ICE downtown Chicago processing center. Underwood was told that both sites are preparing for substantial expansion, including a potential reconfiguration of Broadview to accommodate temporary workspaces. Broadview Processing Center will reportedly be used as a training facility for newly hired Deportation Officers, due to the high volume of detainees.

When Congresswoman references "Paragon", I'm guessing this is Paragon Solutions who have some contract with ICE and is another of these domestic spying operations the Treasonous Trump regime is using against the American people with little to no oversight from Congress since its' controlled by Trumpublican lick-spittles only to eager to stand up concentration camps in the Nation, while lavishing praise and succor for Masked Secret Police who blatantly break laws and the Constitution at will.
The problem is there is are so many evil actions and bad actors operating simultaneously that their criminal acts are often discovered and reported on well after the fact and most often by independent and small local journalists. The U.S. Corporate Media is invested in making Trump and everything he does "normal" so even when they do cover these acts it's with a slant to normalize and "sane wash" them.
