I am still livid over the shameful disrespect towards Ira Hayes, Jackie Robinson, and so many other Veterans by the racist cowards, traitors, and Incels who never served a fucking day but, lets not forget how the current Secretary of Defense showed himself to be an incompetent and stupid man.

Pete Hegseth is an embarrassment and a stupid fuck who doesn't know how to lead.  Many people don't know how to lead and to compensate they focus on the wrong fucking things.  Hegseth's ideas of leadership are like a grade school boys imagination,

"It starts with the basic stuff, right?" Hegseth told the crowd. "It's grooming standards and uniform standards and training standards, fitness standards, all of that matters."

Focusing on how a uniform fits and grooming is a facile take and literally the most superficial view of leading, which belongs in basic training and the parade deck but, not in a combat ready military.  

As I deployed into combat zones it became readily apparent what senior NCOs had spent their careers worrying about shiny black books and Stay-Flo starched uniforms.

There were a whole cadre of Marines who in the post Vietnam era didn't deploy much and were laser-focused on chewing out any Marine who dared use the cargo pockets on his woodland cammies instead of having them flat up against the pants leg.

These Marines were focused on performance on field day instead of performance in the field.

It was evident Hegseth wasn't fit to be SecDef by the fact everyone in his command recommended he be kept as far away from authority and leadership as possible.  So to Hegseth, leadership amounts to what you look like.  

Hegseth also mentioned Broken Windows a wholly discredited policing strategy which of course appeals to a shitbag like him as it's annoyance and intimidation of peoples and fits with his worldview of some people not really having rights and protections and being subject to the whim of the Police State.

"It's almost like the broken windows theory of policing: when you ignore the small stuff from criminals, and I'm not I'm not saying if you violate grooming standards, you're a criminal, the analogy is incomplete, but if you violate the small stuff and you allow it to happen, the big stuff, it creates a culture where big stuff you're not held accountable for. I think the same thing exists inside our services," Hegseth insisted.

Except that is not how good police work is done.  It is how an occupying army views a subjugated peoples.  It is how a bully thinks and how a campaign of low-level harassment works to control victims.  It's a shit theory advanced by people who do not understand day-to-day policing, do not understand crime, and do not understand how best to deter or investigate crime and is a way of thinking a person who spent the last decade sitting on a couch spewing propaganda to Faux News watchers thinks.

Hopefully, we won't have any catastrophes under Hegseth's tenure but just these series of insults, blunders, and intolerances.  Sadly, I'm certain Hegesth (And Trump, Vance, and Musk) are going to get itchy to prove how big and strong they are and we'll find ourselves in a shooting war with NATO in Greenland, Panama, and Ontario.

Drunk and Incompetent.   Just prior to the Operation, Pete Hegseth and Senior Trump officials included Jeffrey Goldberg, the Editor of The Atlantic, in Top Secret bombing campaign which happened in Yemen last week.  Hegseth is "accidentally" going to include Volodmyr Zelenskyy in the planning for the US Army 82nd and 101st Airborne assault on Kyiv in coordination with a Putin thrust into Ukraine.
