"Hang Mike Pence..." - Conservative Insurrectionists
"Maybe our supporters have the right idea. Mike Pence deserves it." - Donald John Traitor Trump, as reported on Day 1 of the first of his high crimes and misdemeanors.
Everyone knows that, much like their Arch-Traitor ancestors during the Civil War (1861-1865), 01/06/21 is a date that Republicans declared War on the United States of America. This date however was simply the culmination of the undeclared War and slow-moving Coup, Republicans have been engaged in for 50 years.
Ever since, Dick Nose Nixon was forced to resign Republicans steeled themselves to never allowing the Democratic Party to govern the United States. Thus began a decades long struggle. Republicans inherited the visible violence of their conservative terrorists (the Proud Boys and Oathbreakers are merely rebranded KKK and Pinkerton's) and hatched multiple prongs of bureaucratic violence, subverting and using the levers of the US Government against itself and the American people.
Old school Reactionaries like Mitch McConnel and John Roberts would have been happy with the long, slow coup of ensconcing rightwing oppression and intolerance brick-by-brick into Law but, too many Pedophile Matt Gaetz's, Di Puzzi Sam Alito's, psycho Major Traitor Greene', Supreme Injustice Ginni Thomas, and oleaginous globe Ted Cruz's wrecked that method by pushing fascism upon the Nation faster.
Even now, as we begin the January 6th Congressional hearings, Republicans, who aided and abetted the Insurrection, hide in the shadows and slink about the halls of Congress marking time, hoping the wheels of justice grind too slowly to ensnare them before the 2022 elections when they plan to brush aside all the criminal conspiracy they committed in an unconscionable act of treason.
