An Indiana Republican-controlled Senate Education Committee voted 8-2 to send legislation endorsing the teaching creationism in public schools, to the super majority (37-13) Republican controlled Indiana State Senate. Senate Bill 89 allows school corporations to authorize "the teaching of various theories concerning the origin of life" and specifically mentions "creation science" as one such theory.

State Sen. Scott Schneider, R-Indianapolis, who voted for the measure, said if there are many theories about life's origins, students should be taught all of them.

These bills are so bad that even the NFL Players Association condemned the right-to-work bills in a Jan. 6 statement, calling it “a political ploy designed to destroy basic workers’ rights.”

And you thought the train had pulled away from the Pullman Shanty Towns forever! This is how Corporate evil works, little by little they undermine hard-fought gains until the you wake up and your Rights as a worker are gone.

You really think you're going to negotiate paid-sick leave and a salary increase? It won't be easy to create a Better America. The Republicon Congress has no intention of helping America. Obama's call for the Government to step up and reign in the murderous Oil Companies, the greedy and viscous Hedge Fund Vultures, to create a sensible economic policy, a return to investing in American jobs, and an end to the Era of the Greedy 1% served notice.

More needs to be done after Obama's Victory in 2012. An End to the Phony War on Terror, especially in Afghanistan but also the drone attacks in and around HOA, a solution to Gitmo, higher taxes on Thieving Disaster Capitalists, a transaction tax on Wall Street, a Single-Payer Medicare Option for All and more. Poor Unemployed Mitt Romney released his 2010 tax return which showed he paid $3 Million in taxes for the $21.6 Million he reported in income. Coincidentally, 14%, about 45 million votes, is roughly the number of Americans who would choose Mitt Romney for President.

On the Other Hand, in 2008 Barack Obama garnered 67 million popular votes in 2008 and in 2012 if his opponent is Out-of-Touch Vulture Romney or Three gods/Three wives Newt Gingrich, President Obama will earn 100 million popular votes.

Mitt Romney, probably has no idea what hit him this year. Having lived a life of ease and comfort, effortlessly sliding back-and-forth between work as the Disaster Capitalist at Bain Capital and Government Romney no doubt expected to be able to buy the Presidency and reward his family, cronies and Corporate criminal allies with huge amounts of stolen taxpayer dollars.

Mark Kirk suffered a Stroke

Illinois Senator Mark Kirk suffered a terrible stroke which required brain surgery. From a Spokesman for Senator Kirk,

On Saturday, Senator Kirk checked himself into Lake Forest Hospital, where doctors discovered a carotid artery dissection in the right side of his neck. He was transferred to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where further tests revealed that he had suffered an ischemic stroke. Early this morning the Senator underwent surgery to relieve swelling around his brain stemming from the stroke. The surgery was successful. Due to his young age, good health and the nature of the stroke, doctors are very confident in the Senator’s recovery over the weeks ahead.

An ischemic stroke occurs when an artery to the brain is blocked. Senator Kirk had an 8 inch by 4 inch section his skull removed to help reduce swelling, this is called trephining, one of the oldest surgical procedures performed by mankind, dating back to the Neolithic era.

Of course, I hope the junior Senator from Illinois makes a full, strong and rapid recovery. I also Hope every American will have access to the type of medical coverage Senator Kirk enjoys.

But, under the Republicons unanimous support for Paul Ryan Deathcare, anyone in need of such a procedure would probably not be able to explain they have a Two-for-One Coupon for trephining and aftercare and even if they could Eric Cantor would demand any medical coverage for a poor person be offset with cuts in Food Stamps or Pell Grants.

Chicago based Boeing...Wait, why should we call Boeing "Chicago-based"? Yes, they have a nice skyscraper (it won the Structural Engineers Association of Illinois' "Most Innovative" Design Award) located along the River in downtown Chicago which they moved into in 2001. Boeing still retains their sprawling massive facilities along I-5 north of SeaTac International Airport.

But, the reason Boeing moved their International HQ to Chicago was a for millions in a tax dodge. Illinois gave tax breaks for the $170,000,000 million dollar building at 100 North Riverside Plaza and a special rate for their Corporate profits so they can engage in some special bookkeeping because nowadays the thing American Corporate leaders manufacture is legerdemain and accounting tricks to hide and obscure "their" money.

Anyway, one place we know Boeing is definitively not based out off anymore is Wichita, Kansas. On January 4th, Boeing announced it was moving the tanker work out of Kansas to other U.S. plants and closing its Wichita operation next year.

In 2008, Boeing asked Kansas officials to help win a $3.5 billion contract for 18 Air Force tankers. Wichita's Mayor Carl Brewer says Kansas had a long history of coming through for Boeing. In fact, Axelrod notes that Boeing received 650 tax breaks over the last 30 years and $3.5 billion dollars in bonds.

Boeing would have failed if it had to face the Free Market and only exists today as a Company because of the Trillions of dollars it has received in government assistance. Of course, when you're a Corporate Criminal like Boeing getting free money from the government just... isn't... enough... Boeing, the Corporate Criminals, admitted to stealing $644 Million via fraudulent contracts. That would be called stealing if you the regular person did it but a Corporate person named Boeing gets the nomenclature of fraud.

Boeing is a company who could never succeed except for Billions of tax payer assistance. As such, Boeing is basically a middleman. Their Corporate charter should require they abide by the the NLRB and all of the Government's rules but that would be SOCIALISM!

Not Very Much! that's why a $10,000 dollar bet was such a lark to Vulture Romney. His walk in' around monies alone are more than 99% of Americans earn yearly. Mitt still won't reveal how many millions of dollars (20? 50? 100? more?) he has received from Bain Capital as deferred income which gets taxed at 15%. And every more disgusting comes the revelation that Mitt Romney has quietly spirited away millions to the Cayman Islands the one time Tax Haven Du Jour for the 1%. Remember at the end of the Bush Presidency some 52,000 American criminals moved under cover of the Republican White House untold Billions into secret Swiss Bank accounts at UBS.

So, it's not surprising Mitt Romney will not release his tax records because they will show everyone in America the kind of outright thievery Mitt has accomplished and how the Rich have revamped the Tax code to place the burden of the American Government squarely on the middle class and poor.

But, in reality, Mitt Romney's salary of $374,000 for "Speaking Fees" is a pittance amongst the Hedge Fund Vultures, that disgusting cadre of thieves, cutthroats and murderers with whom he associates.

Paul Singer, Steven Schwartzman and Mitt Romney aren't content anymore with merely blowing up American companies and carving off millions from their dead carcass or reaping bonuses just from the fired American workers' salaries. No, these members of the 1%, these butchers and thieves leverage entire Nations to fill their bloated bellies.

These men take hostage entire Nations. Using the WTO or the IMF or powerful international courts these Vultures steal millions in international charitable donations destined for those countries. It's well beyond NIMBY, it's not just the richest members of Oil Corporations, but most involved in the Oil business, who live outside the areas affected and don't come into contact with any of the toxic by products.

This incident is rapidly degenerating into the Torture "Debate", wherein the Right-Wingers defend something completely wrong because our "enemies" do bad things thereby making it okay. Mainly because conservatives have no compunction about being evil.

Personally, I never understood how it was fine to kill someone but, the follow on act of "desecrating" their bodies was then deemed the actual violation of the Rules of War. This is no doubt because I am not a gentleman.

Marines should know War is a gentleman's pursuit because every new recruit is taught Marine Corps Officers back in the 19th century wore a Barracks Cover with the Quatrefoil embossed on top. Officers were deemed not-legitimate targets for sniper fire and had to have a distinguishing mark on top of their cover to inform snipers of their non-targetable status.

On Sunday 01/08/12, Hugo Chavez declared, "I will say it once. We will not recognize any decisions of the ICSID. We will not recognize them." Chavez seized back control of Venezuela's resources from the Vultures at ExxonMobil. Exxon called upon the power of the IMF and the World Bank to exert economic pressure on Venezuela regain control. Chavez along with allies Bolivia and Nicaragua, has said in the past that it would withdraw from the convention that created the ICSID, arguing that the international body gives transnational companies a gateway to violate national sovereignty.

BP has been free to sue whomever they wanted and they did so in April 2011 when they filed lawsuits against Transocean Ltd., Halliburton Co. and Cameron International, for over $40 Billion Dollars.

But, his recent Recess Appointments of Richard Cordray to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and Sharon Block, Richard Griffin, and Terence Flynn to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) are perhaps signs of a more liberal agenda for the 2012 election year.

Of course, everything from Getting Osama Bin Laden to these Appointments are an affront to the Republican Bigots and Elitists. So, it is no surprise Republicans are beating their breasts, rending their hair and crying in anguish over President Obama's Recess Appointments.

“It’s astounding to me that the president is claiming these are recess appointments and within his authority, when Congress was not in fact in recess,” said Representative Diane Black (R-TN) who authored the resolution. “These appointments are an affront to the Constitution. No matter how you look at this, it doesn’t pass the smell test. I hope the House considers my resolution as soon as we return to Washington so we can send a message to President Obama.”

It would stand that a Congress actually in Session would not need to return to Washington. But, that's the modern Republican Party. It was bypassed."

The Republican position is when we say we are "in session" it counts as being in session. Where 171 Recess Appointments by George W. Bush and 243 by Ronnie Raygun are fine. Romney will not release his tax returns because it will show Romney's been receiving Millions of Dollars every year from Bain Capital as "deferred income and" paying around a 15% tax rate.

It's clear why Romney hoped for the bankruptcy and dissolution of General Motors. Romney hoped Bain Capital would be able to Vulture off some GM assets and increase his Pension. If there is one thing Romney has not flip-flopped on in his life it's that he consistenely chooses Profits Over People.

It isn't a PAC with the goal of how to to Create Jobs but on how to continue and increase the obscene and murderous transfer of wealth up to the coffers of a small cadre of Psychopaths.

The 1% aren't making anything, let alone "Creating Jobs". They profit by crooked bookkeeping, legerdemain, mathematical number games, shifting billions of electronic digits from one account into another and then proclaim themselves hard-working capitalists. They are gamblers, thieves, poltroons and Vultures.

But, there are also elements of modern life, pensions, Medicare, the EPA, freeways and schools which represent huge areas of Uncertainty. Your pension would be better off as a private account inside their Wall Street casinos where they can gamble it away and tell you, 'Oops! The Free Market just swallowed your life savings! Sorry, but that's Freedom.' As Republicon Jeb Henserling told America, "I don’t think we can figure out how to outlaw recessions any more than we can outlaw tornadoes or outlaw hurricanes. Economic growth has never gone in one straight line up. It’s a part of freedom."

Schools represent another area of Uncertainty. Schools and Teachers teach the 99% things the 1% does not want them to learn. Note how often this is the cry of David Horowitz, Michele Bachmann, Faux News listeners. Schools are awful places where children learn to make up their own minds instead of absorbing the Neo-Feudalist vision of America. And now unlike what George Carlin observed, the 1% don't even need Americans to be "just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork, and just dumb enough to passably accept all these increasingly shittier jobs", for they can increasingly go anywhere in the world to find their labor pool.

So, if it's revealed 1 in 2 Americans live in "Poverty"? The 1% funds Think Tanks to produce the kind of education they want you to have. Poverty? Harumph! Why that doesn't exist in America! Why would a One Percenter want a functioning infrastructure? They no longer need the American worker or American factory. It's often pointed out we aren't a Manufacturing country anymore but a Financial one, and what the Financial Exploiters want is the ability to move "their" capital anywhere in the world at a moment’s notice, to engage in predatory lending, usury and eliminate all banking/financial regulation. The 1% do not see American workers, companies or factories as assets but as giant pools of liquidity waiting languidly, for them to drain and thus quicken themselves with Naked Credit Default Swaps.

Why would the 1% want EPA restrictions? Their water isn't going to be filled with the toxic run-off from fracking. And BP can't be certain a Government inspection of the BP Whiting, Indiana Oil Refinery Plant which routinely dumps a dozen toxic byproducts from oil refining, including benzene, toluene and suspended solids containing mercury, lead, nickel and vanadium, into Lake Michigan will cost them some of their beautiful money. And Massey Energy has to face the uncertainity of how much money the Government will demand they pay for killing their miners by their rampant criminal negligence.

So, much Uncertainty facing the 1%! How does the Melting Pot benefit the psychopathic 1%? They don't need a Nation, they gate off their communities, they hire their own private police services, they have 24 hour Propaganda Networks. If they have bigger problems they band together and instruct their wholly owned Congressmen and Senators to adopt their Views and pursue their issues. The 1% are constantly pushing their Republicon Guards to eliminate Medicare, Medicaid, and steal Social Security. Because those SSA funds represent the last Great Pool of liquidity waiting for them to tap.

The 1% don't need you. But, what they do need every so often is to eliminate Uncertainty. And that is why the filthy 1% who deliberately caused the economic collapse and the housing bubble are now trying to convince enough people that it was caused by social programs for the poor and middle class.

Well, it was a good thing Governor Pat Quinn gave a bunch of Illinois taxpayer money to Sears Corp because of all the Jobs they are going to create.

What a joke this modern American "Capitalism". Corporations routinely get bailed out by taxpayers, exploit the byzantine tax structure to pay "negative tax rates", eliminate jobs here in the States, close factories, and are declared "People" and "Job Creators".

Here is what Sears extorted from Governor Pat Quinn on December 16,

The deal gives Sears tax credits worth $15 million a year for 10 years, which it can use against withheld employee income taxes. The deal also would extend a special taxing district, reducing the company's local property tax bill for another 15 years.

So, Sears Holding Corporation got a 15 year special property tax zone in Illinois. Sears Corporate Headquarters is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This is what they are going to do with their new special tax zone in Illinois, Sears is going to use accounting gimmicks and legerdemain to transfer money electronically from other stores in other states into the Corporate HQ, that money will then be listed on the Corporate profit sheet and will be accounted under the special taxation rate. This is known as the Las Vegas Loophole.

Additionally, by declaring Bankruptcy and closing 100+ stores Sears are reducing their labor costs and protecting their assets from going to the few American employees they have left. After Bankruptcy and restructuring the CEO, COO, and Corporate Board are going to abscond with Millions of Dollars in Golden Parachute severance packages.

Sears Corporation owes no allegiance to any flag, cares nothing for any nationality and sees every nation as little more than a piggy bank on which to fatten themselves all the while selecting governments which make their rampant corruption and outright theft "legal".

CME Group just swindled Illinois Taxpayers

CME Group just robbed the people of Illinois for hundreds of millions and now they are going to transfer the extorted money to cover their losses from other areas of their corporate monstrosity. When faced with their own gross negligence, budgetary shenanigans, accounting fraud and malfeasance CME Group made the simple move of transferring one column of numbers to another column.

MF Global Holdings Ltd. filed for bankruptcy on October 31 after it was forced to reveal that it had made a failed $6.3 billion bet on European sovereign debt.

MF Global used at least $700 million of customer funds to “meet liquidity issues” in the days prior to its bankruptcy, according to CME Group Inc., which had auditing authority over the failed futures broker.

CME Group chief operating officer Bryan Durkin told a packed meeting of the National Grain and Feed Association this month, echoing earlier testimony by CME executives to Congress, that MF Global was the culprit, not CME's clearing house.

In a real Capitalist system, CME Group would go bankrupt for their shoddy accounting and managerial techniques but in the American Neo-Feudalist System, CME Group just threatens Governor Quinn and uses the power of the Government to take Millions from the Taxpayer to cover their losses due to criminal malfeasance or outright stupidity.

CME won a tax break from the state, which had hiked the corporate tax rate in January in an effort to plug a budget shortfall.

The legislation, signed by Illinois Governor Pat Quinn on Friday December 16, will reduce CME's tax bill compared to what it was before the tax hike, shaving off about $77 million annually when it takes full effect in 2014.

I'm sure innocent investors lost fortunes by being involved with MF Global and CME Group but when an Illinois resident is taken by a Nigeria Lottery Email Scam they can't go to Governor Quinn and demand, 'Unless you cover my losses I'll leave the State' and be given taxpayer money.

This is how these 'Job Creators' cover their losses. CME Group and other financial behemoths don't create anything and have been engaged in a byzantine system of legerdemain and gambling wholly disconnected from labor and adding nothing to the economy.

And then when the bills come due these High Rollers simply march into the State Capital Building and demand the money from the Government. Oathkeepers? More accurately Oathbreakers and Conservative Domestic Terrorists

The Oathkeepers were a loose organization of Veterans, Police Officers, Active Duty Military and National Guardsmen which nominally declared they would never "just follow orders" and deprive Americans of their Constitutional Rights, with the motto "Not on Our Watch". Today they have little impact but you can still find right-wing blogs which tout the Oathkeeper Pledge, as conservative blowhard The Bloviating Zeppelin recently did in declaring himself an Oathkeeper.

Originally, following the election of President Obama, the Oathkeepers began coalescing around the time the Department of Homeland Security released their 2009 memo concerning the Rise of recruiting efforts amongst returning service members by violent Right Wing Extremist/Sovereign Citizen/Domestic Terrorist groups. The DHS Memorandum was spurred on by the murder of 3 Pittsburgh Police Officers by Right Wing Extremist Richard Poplawski and noted that the Republicon Recession and President Obama's election presented unique moment in American history.

Additionally, the Southern Poverty Law Center began to document the Re-Rise of the Patriot Militia Movements and the evolving nature of the internet allowed for more dynamic connectivity. Famously, amongst the Oathkeepers former Marine Charles Dyer's skull-masked youtube video set to the soundtrack of The Last of the Mohicans, and the ludicrous videos of Bob Basso pretending to be Thomas Paine dressed in standard 1776 garb became rallying points.

Much of the resulting Oathkeeper History became entangled with the Tea Party, Birtherism, Faux News, fear of the Michele Bachmann/Glenn Beck FEMA Concentration Camps and the Co-opting of the organization's energy by the 1% to direct anger at President Obama and the Democratic Party.

The salient point now is not their manipulation at the hands of the Republicon Party, FreedomWorks or the Koch Brothers but, in light of their 10 Point "NOT" Pledge, the fact The Oathkeepers are little more than another group who wittingly or unwittingly carries the water of the 1% and should more accurately be called the Oathbreakers Militia. This is Pledge #10:

We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their government for a redress of grievances.

Want to guess what the reaction to OWS and #Occupy was from the Oathbreakers? Infiltration and Destruction.

I occasionally saw the odd Ron Paulian Banner at #OccupyChi, but the Oathbreakers attempt to pass along Alex Jones conspiracy memes at various #Occupy General Assemblies (GA) failed. Occupiers are too adroit (literally) and too well read to fall for that Pablum.

Of course, the failure of the Oathbreakers to successfully "Occupy the Occupation" may explain why when the NYPD, Oakland Police, Boston PD, and every paramilitary Police Force were ordered to beat, tear gas, pepper spray, shoot, destroy personal property, illegally detain and violate the Rights of Americans to Peaceably Assemble and petition the Government there was no outcry from the Oathbreakers. And as Right-Wing websites continued the call for more Police Violence and even as anti-American World Net Daily writer Phil Elmore requested,

"Call out the National Guard. Turn on the fire hoses. Send bulldozers. Bring flame-throwers, for pity's sake. Men and women who give a damn about their country, wearing Hazmat suits and respiratory gear, empowered by the lawful government of this nation, should be marching in ranks on every Obamaville this very moment, prepared to beat with truncheons and shoot with rubber bullets every last filthy hippie. The "occupiers" are criminals and terrorists."

There was naught but silence from the Oathkeepers.

When Richmond Police bulldozers turned the potential into the actual, the Oathkeepers showed themselves to be nothing more than a thinly veiled Militia, exactly what everyone at the DHS knew them to be, A Reactionary Anti-American Band of Pseudo Terrorists, who had no intention of standing for the American people but had the the very real purpose of blaming the Democratic Party and President Obama for the evils committed by Wall Street, the Corporate Plutocrats and the 1%.

Sensenbrenner was overheard speaking loudly into his cell phone at Reagan National Airport. Sensenbrenner responded that he believed Mrs. Obama to be a hypocrite in that “she lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself.”

The Illinois Legislature passed a measure giving the two Corporations the ransom they demanded. Now, do you think these two are going to invest that money into the State? Do you think they are going to hire thousands of new workers? Do you think they are going to lower prices to aid consumers? No. Sears and CME, the world’s largest owner and operator” of private exchanges for derivatives products, are going to take that money and give their CEOs and Boards millions of dollars in "bonuses".

But, don't worry aid is coming from the US Congress. Of course, it won't be in the form of a payroll tax break which would overwhelmingly aid middle class and struggling working class Americans. No, if there is anyone the Republicons love to be overburdened by taxes and debt it is the 99%.

The Republicons are going to make sure that Millionaires don't receive food stamps and uninsurance coverage. But, don't be fooled by this Republicon move. It isn't designed to curb fraud, waste or abuse, it is designed to get Americans thinking that food stamps and unemployment are wrong and no one should have them.

Of course, No such petition to Congress would be complete without this type of language: And As an adult I want to make my own choices in life and not have a bureaucrat at the FDA making those choices for me.

It is incontrovertible that Tobacco Companies appeal to the youngest demographic possible, with the exception of those which cater to a different niche or audience. Thus what Senator Brown is saying is true "Big Tobacco" is always trying "to find new ways to hook young, impressionable customers". It's merely good business to get customers attracted to your product as soon as possible.

But what this really shows is those who are offended and up-in-arms over Nanny State Over Regulation have no idea what they are angry about, if they did they would know the main market for funky flavored 6-for-a-dollar gas station cigars are marijuana smokers. You know Romney's business chops he likes to tout as qualifications for the White House? His work at Bain Capital, a private equity firm, Romney made millions on buying American companies and then selling off the assets, closing manufacturing plants and eliminating American Jobs. Take the Bain Capital acquisition of American Pad and Paper.

In all, Bain and its investors reaped more than $100 million even though Ampad went into bankruptcy, hundreds of workers lost jobs, and stockholders were left with worthless shares.

More recently, in Romney's magnificent Op-Ed Let Detroit Go Bankrupt, he wistfully longed for Americans to lose their jobs, blamed the UAW for the crisis and demanded Americans die quickly once they're done working to keep costs down:

Christopher Hitchens passed away after a year and a half long battle with cancer. I read several of his works but, it's not like I knew him, so I can not say I'm sad. I enjoyed Hitchens passionate speaking and he struck me as what an erudite human can be given the access to and encouragement of higher education. I didn't like his Iraq War stance but I did love that he caused rabid American religious fascists mental consternation as they couldn't figure out how to reconcile his hatred of Islam with his hatred Christian Fascism.

However, it wouldn't be christian fascism if religious asses didn't use Hitchens' death as an opportunity to make smug statements about heaven and god.

Now, I shouldn't being making fun of Tim Tebow, for as much as I don't like his overt displays of piety at least he didn't use Hitchens' passing to make insulting comments about how Christopher is face-to-face with the almighty. Bill Bennett, supposedly a friend of Hitchens, didn't make a genteel statement or use the opportunity to say a short kind word. Nope Bennett, said, "And I hope as the big atheist that he was, he's in for a big surprise."

Classy. It's a standard move by right-wingers when someone they hate dies. It's a time for conservatives to level the most vicious insults at those who can no longer defend themselves. Newt has even proposed The Newt Gingrich Youth. Gingrich called laws against child labor "truly stupid" and unveiled a plan so vile and so hateful, it not only puts poor children to work and eliminates their access to an education but, also takes jobs from struggling fathers and mothers.

During his time sucking off taxpayers Newt Gingrich's career goal has been to create Cargo Cult Conservatism. Republicons have been promising their duped and battered conservative drones that trickle down wealth is at hand for decades. All right-wingers need do is keep on voting for Republicans and the Rain of Wealth would fall on them.

In keeping in line with this cycle, Republicon Presidential Front Runner Newt Gingrich revealed his tax plan. Guess what? Just like with Herman Cain's ridiculous proposal, Taxes are higher on Middle Class and Small Business Owners than they are on the Super-Rich.

The Newt Gingrich plan, has a higher Federal Tax Rate for struggling Americans making $40,000 (12.7%) than for those earning over $1,000,000 (11.9%). Additionally, taxes on Income from Capital Gains would be eliminated.

Newt is a solid member of the Republican Guard, out to harass, harm, oppress and defeat the 99%. Gingrich proudly proclaims himself a "Reaganite" and his tax proposal is right in line with Piss Down Your Back and Tell You It's Raining Reaganomics. Screw the Majority of Americans and solidify the Transfer of Wealth up to the Richest 1%.

We've already seen that due to the Reagan instituted lowering of the Capital Gains tax rate, 50% of all Capital Gains profits go to the Richest 0.1% of the US. Gingrich's complete elimination would result in an even faster Transfer of Wealth upwards and accelerate the Income Inequality in this Nation to levels not seen since the Pharaohs.

But, Newt off-sets his vicious Neo-Feudalist Class Warfare by declaring he doesn't want to pay people for 99 weeks for sitting on their rear end. Oh wait, that's merely more attack the Poor Class Warfare! While, this rhetoric of not providing unemployment to anyone scores points with the duped and battered conservative voter, Newt Gingrich has never had a real job in his life.

Newt has spent 20 years working stealing in Congress and after being forced out due to rampant ethics violations transformed his DC Insider status into $60,000 dollar-an-hour speaking fees and peddling his influence to Freddie Mac for a cool $1,600,000 dollar kick-back. Gingrich is the epitome of the Republicon Welfare Queen. Getting paid millions of dollars by the Government for doing nothing.

For 3 quarters the Bears defense had Tebow flustered. Tebow had completed just 3 of 16 passes had thrown an interception and fumbled. I think the Tebow Mania and the way everyone wants this to be an issue is because some christians want to feel they are persecuted. These christians are making Tim Tebow a litmus test for the persecution complex they crave and the war on their religion they are engaged in.

However, lost amongst all this Tebowing, was the is a more egregious religious affront. Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, who recently conferred upon deadbeat Republican dad Joe Walsh, the title of #1 True Blue Pro-Family status wrote an article declaring Jesus was a Free Marketer not an Occupier.

Of course, the problem that Jesus lived 2000 years before the concept isn't really the issue. Because what Tony Perkins was actually writing about was a justification for the rampant theft and corruption by the 1%. Perkins, overplayed his hand, because the need to mention OWS and the term "occupier" in the title shows how frightened he is christians in this country will begin to side with the poor and correctly view #Occupy as a struggle against Oppressive Power and the corrupt system set up by those who wield that Power.

It's actually an old idea in christianity. The Poor Men of Lyons (Waldenses) were condemned as heretics by the Catholic Church and were eventually anathemamitised because they dared to question the Order of Society. The Waldenses meet the same fate as the Cathars in the early 1200's being chased down and brutally slaughtered by the Guardians of the Powers That Be.

I can't think of a bigger piece of garbage in the US Congress than Joe Walsh. Yes, even including Michele Bachmann. Everything we have learned about Joe Walsh shows he is interested in only one thing, getting money into the hands of Joe Walsh.

Walsh, first tried to make a name for himself as being the Tea Party candidate who called President Obama black. Then he worried that "American Jews aren't Pro-Israel enough."

Walsh outdid himself by going on a screaming red-faced tirade at Melissa Rakestraw, an Illinois resident and Postal worker, who dared to talk to him. Walsh screamed, "DON'T blame the Banks! I am tired of hearing that crap!" The "crap" being the truth about how the Banks and Wall Street collapsed the US housing market and turned the US economy into a giant gambling ring.

Rakestraw, later told Walsh, many returning Veterans work at the USPS, Walsh said he didn't care if Veterans lost their jobs as long as the Republicon plan to destroy the USPS was accomplished.

Walsh wasn't done. Walsh told a town hall he considered Veterans joining OWS and #Occupy protests "Anti-American" and "they don't understand this country." That would be Joe Walsh, ZERO days in uniform, ZERO days deployed.

There can hardly be a more illustrative example of the current conservative hypocritical mindset than Joe Walsh. Apparently, the conservative notion of supporting the troops extends only as far as the magnetic field on their yellow bumper stickers.

It goes beyond being the willing dupes for the Right or accepting Karl Rove's tactics of attacking a Democratic politicans' strength. Conservatives are the willing foot-soldiers to the Republicon Guard, and the willing slaves of the 1%.

The October 2011 Chicago Magazine showed the average sale price for the suburban homes around Chicago. Municipalities, like Palatine, Vernon Hills, Mundelein, Lincolnshire, Lake Zurich, in Joe Walsh's current Congressional District have all seen their 2011 housing value drop from 2010.

What Illinois residents have learned about Joe Walsh is the same thing his ex-wife and kids learned about him. Paul "The Vulture" Singer is a disgusting criminal Hedge Fund Manager. Nothing more than a tawdry thief and the poster child for the 1%, old, greedy, criminal, without a shred of humanity or morality.

It's not enough that Paul Singer is a man who destroys raids companies, closes US factories and eliminates American jobs but, demands to be lauded under the Orwellian/Luntzian title 'Job Creator', Singer the Vulture actually creates nothing but Misery and Death.

No, this is not hyperbole. Paul Singer is responsible for deaths of Congolese children from cholera. Cholera! An epidemic which can easily be stopped merely by providing people with clean drinking water! As of 30 August 2011, 5,666 cases of cholera and 329 deaths have been reported after the epidemic broke out in DR Congo in March 2011.

But, Singer is too busy using financial extortion to squeeze money from the region. Singer (through his Hedge Fund) paid $10 Million USC for "debt" incurred by the previous irresponsible Congolese Dictatorships then using that debt Singer is demanding $400 Million USC be paid, from the current government, and is holding up international assistance from the African people in the region.

This isn't the first time Paul Singer has used the suffering of others to turn a profit. Singer also infamously bought Owens-Corning out of Bankruptcy. Singer then used his Republicon Political connections to limit the amount of compensation American workers had incurred while working for Owens-Corning suffering from asbestos injuries to increase his bottom line.

This is Your 1%. Paul Singer, Hedge Fund Manager is a member of that small elite. They aren't creating jobs, who aren't funding innovations or "building a better light bulb". They are gambling, loan sharking and transferring electronic digits from one ledger to another. They make their money by accounting gimmicks and turning suffering into coinage.

Of course, the sickening Singer is furious with the intrepid BBC reporter Greg Palast who has repeated uncovered his "money-making" methods. Paul Singer, let the BBC know, "Paul Singer has been sued before," and "We have a file on Greg Palast."

But, Paul Singer will never, ever be blogged about by Andrew Breitbart. Michelle Malkin will never utter his name, Faux News will never acknowledge his evil deeds. It almost makes Jason Barker, Bank Examiner at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, look tame. Barker, a bank examiner who apparently could not locate any of the $7.77 Trillion USC loaned and guaranteed to the Big Banks through the Federal Reserve system found enough time to examine his anal cavity by sticking his head up it, posted this on Facebook; "NYPD: feel free to crack some hyppie skulls for me! I work downtown and I what this crap to stop." after the NYPD busted up the Zuccotti Park Encampment.

Barker is just one of thousands of corrupted Bank Regulators who turn a blind eye to the System, to the rampant theft, and have accepted the evil 1% American Capitalist Ideal of Privatized Profits and Socialized Losses. To the Right it's always President Obama's fault. On Wednesday Senator Susan Collins,

during a joint session of the Senate and House Homeland Security Committee on Wednesday, the Maine Republican referenced a letter from the Defense Department depicting the Fort Hood shootings as workplace violence. She criticized the Obama administration for failing to identify the threat as radical Islam.

But, the right-wing smear machine is taking it even further. Google: Susan Collins, Fort Hood, Department of Defense, and the first 4 pages will be incestously cross-linked right wing blogs, broadly proclaiming Obama Administration Classifies Fort Hood Massacre to "Workplace Violence".

I would say Breitbart's site is the most egregious offender but it's also the title for the often cited but not read Faux News story.

But, as always when dealing with conservatives, there's a flaw or a calculated lie involved. While all the Right-wingers are busily retyping their Obama Sides with the Terrorists quotes from 2008, 2009, 2010, the memo supposedly comes from the Department of Defense. So, I asked some of the conservatives for evidence of the DoD Memo signed by President Obama or the directive from the White House which authorizes this reclassification. Now, of course, I'm not going to get such a memo because it doesn't exist. But, the Right would never let the lack of evidence get in the way of their propaganda. So, instead, I've been treated to the standard chicken hawk right wing rhetoric; get a job, liberalism = terrorism, liberals are evil terrorist appeasers, Obama's a Muslim blah blah blah.

So this is right wing logic: During President Obama's tenure, when talking about military matters, everything good which happens is solely the result of the specific soldiers' action, everything bad which happens is the fault of Obama. Ah, but when the President was named George W. Bush, everything bad which happened was the fault of the specific soldier and everything good was the result of Bush's inspired leadership. Being stationed in CLNC (that's Camp Lejeune, North Carolina) for 4 years, one of the off-base fast food joints we had was Chick-fil-A. Their chicken sandwiches were decent, nothing to write home about, which is why I never wrote home about them.

However, before going into the specifics, let me ask you; When was the last time you mistook a quick fried chicken breast for a leaf of kale? Chick-fil-A is attempting to stop Vermont artist Bo Muller-Moore from using the phrase "Eat More Kale" because according to their bevy of Corporate criminal lawyers it violates their phrase "Eat Mor Chikin".

If Corproations are people, then Chick-fil-A is an ignorant, authoritarian, homophobic, self-righteous, chicken-shit bully with a cow udder fetish...

Now, to be completely fair the original founder of Chick-fil-A, S. Truett Cathy, appears to be an incredibly generous, hard-working and giving man (the opposite of the Ayn Randian Superman) as he spends time and gives vast amounts of money to charity.

But, just as Polybius described in the cycle of political revolution, once the goodly beloved king passes away or loses control of the realm (or in this case the Corporation) the small elite cadre which eventually takes over doesn't have the same benevolent aspects and descends into tyranny.

Of course, when the Mythical Age of Corporate Self-Regulation occurs we need not worry what a business like Chick-fil-A is doing because every cease-and-desist order or whatever they may be doing, it'll be with our best interests at heart.

A conservative Think Tank, in this case the Heritage Foundation, puts forward a story that Poor People in America aren't really poor and viola, every conservative site re-posts the "findings" and now it's a fact that poor people are not poor and if you are it's your fault. Or as Newt Gingrich puts it;

“Really poor children, in really poor neighborhoods have no habits of working and have nobody around them who works so they have no habit of showing up on Monday. They have no habit of staying all day, they have no habit of I do this and you give me cash unless it is illegal.”

Not only is it your fault but you're probably a criminal anyway...

Scott Walker, the Republican Guard for the Koch Brothers, pushed through his anti-worker legislation and Wisconsinites rose up and demanded it not be adopted. Walker pushed through the 1% agenda anyway despite the protests. Now, having been denied their voice, Wisconsin has decided to recall him, so Walker has decided he doesn't care for the Bill of Rights either. Scott Walker has created policy that whenever a group of 4 or more people gather on the Capitol grounds they need to put in for a permit 72 hours in advance and pay in advance the cost for police presence (minimum $50/ hour) plus the clean-up costs afterwards. Free Speech isn't Free after all...

Democratic Illinois Senator Dick Durbin tried to pass an Amendment to S. 1867 the National Defense Authorization Act for fiscal year 2012. The Amendment was defeated 38-60. The Amendment was to stop the bill's proposal to declare the United States a battleground in the Phony GWoT. 43 Republicans voted against the Amendment. That is they voted to keep the language in the Bill which allows the US military to indefinitely detain suspected Al Qaeda members and anyone else the Government deems an "enemy combatant".

After they steal Social Security, eliminate health care for the poor, stop funding Pell Grants, and impose Slavery Measures err... "Austerity" Measures on the American People they are going to need the military to quell the Domestic disturbances they are engendering.

Of course, even if the Republican Plan to use the US Military to quell Domestic disturbances falls through Blackwater (Xe) and Erik Prince have made it clear they will eliminate Democratic Opposition to the Republican Guard. Erik Prince, now hailing from parts unknown, let it be known he would "eliminate" Jan Schakowsky for her daring to question his Mercenary Army and the Billions Blackwater stole through no-bid contracts pushed through by the Bush/Cheney Presidency.

#Occupy Protest in a Box

As OWS and the #Occupy Movement continues and struggles to make it through the winter, several factors are going to determine if the energy of the Movement is blunted, re-directed or dissipated.

Currently, the reaction to the Police Brutality is at the forefront of many commentators. The influential feminist Naomi Wolf caused quite a stir with her article on the #Occupy crackdowns over at the Guardian. The article caused big traffic, but while to many it smelled false and smacked of hyperbole it's in line with much of Wolf's thought and dovetails succinctly with her 2004 book, The End of America: Letters of Warning to a Young Patriot. (As an update, it seems the reporter, Rick Ellis, who first mentioned the DHS Conspiracy is full of bullshit.)

Right-wingers continue their mission to destroy the #Occupy Movement. One of their major complaints is OWS and the #Occupy Movement should be working within the confines of the law. Now, of course, this is a disingenuous argument on multiple levels.

First, it's a logical fallacy which the Tea Party should specifically disagree with, since the genesis of their name comes from one of the most celebrated "illegal acts" in US History.

However, it also underscores the pure hypocritical phoniness of the ideological underpinnings of Modern Conservative Thought. Since, the election of Barack Obama a large strain of rightwing commentary has focused on "Natural Law" and the moral rightness of disobeying unjust or immoral laws. But, the Right is two-faced when it comes to such arguments for they apply them only when it suits their purposes, which usually is to undercut and delegitimize the elections of Democrats. But, also in service to the Plutocracy's goals of deregulation and privatization. Therefore, when a protest or movement is outside their keen or control the Right always reverts to calls for Authoritarian Tyranny and the destruction of those movements.

This is why the Tea Party faced no concentrated Police and Govenmental Oppression, the Tea Party always was a Top-Down false-front organization quickly subsumed by the 1% to advance the causes of the Rich. Any energy the movement had outside Plutocratic interests was redirected by Rightwing propaganda and limited to arguing over non-issues which would have no impact on the Establishment.

But, the Tea Party has already gone the way of their ideological forefathers, the Know-Nothings. OWS and the #Occupy Movement do not suffer from the TP defects because OWS is grassroots and made up of working and middle class people who are pointing out the underlying problems caused by the control the Richest 1% have on the Government and Society.

And by going outside the guidelines the Establishment has erected regarding political debate (i.e. issues which won't change the fundamentally unfair and corrupted system) they are facing a concerted rightwing media, lobbyist and law enforcement effort to shut them down.

So, making positive connections with the 99% is going to be paramount to keeping OWS vital and vibrant. Unfortunately, regular bloggers are being irked by some of the #OccupyMovements actions.

In a post from Feminisnt, she vents anger at an #OccupySeattle march which hampered her movements in town. Feminisnt points out the March hampered not only her movements but average everyday poor and working class people whom the 99% Movement is supposed to comprise. She also doubts any of the 1% were affected by the Seattle protest march.

I'm not posting this to pick on her, or issue the divisive You are with Us or Against Us, but merely to highlight the disconnect which the 1% have sewn amongst us to keep the 99% divided.

Libertas and Lattes has a bit more vitriol in his post about #Occupy telling the blog-o-sphere if,

"Any of these pale, rat bearded hygiene-free, Che shirt wearing knuckleheads keep me from getting to my place of employment, of home from said place....my fist might accidentally occupy the same space as their face."

I don't highlight these two bloggers, who I've read before to throw rhetorical jabs at them. But, merely to point out a few problems.

The #OccupyMovement is facing the problems all Movements do, after the initial glow has worn off how do you connect with people and weld them to your side? Protest Marches are good for reminding people your Movement is still around but as we all saw during the run-up to the Iraq War, they don't mean anything once the Powers That Be (PTB) have decided on a course of action.

#Occupy needs to bring more people over, and it's not going to be through media coverage but from positive interactions with everyday people as they make them aware of what the true causes for the Republican Recession, Rightwing generated Income Inequality and the stagnation and dissolution of the Middle Class.

Thus while the Controllers of the Tea Party played pin the blame on the Black Guy it didn't succeed in convincing any Americans, other than those who were already convinced that President Obama is a secret love child of Malcolm X and Karl Marx born in Kenya. While the 2010 elections went the way of the Republicans, Americans quickly learned zero help was forth coming to them.

"Don't blame Wall Street, don't blame the big banks," declared Herman Cain. "If you don't have a job and you are not rich, blame yourself!"

But the decades long propaganda effort by FreedomWorks, the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Fund, the Carlyle Group, Faux News has succeeded in creating a sizeable amount of useful idiots who blame Teachers, Unions, the "Welfare Queens" and the unemployed and ignore incidents such as when Former AIG CEO Maurice Greenberg sued the Federal Government for $25 Billion USC. Or that 0.1% - the richest one-thousandth - of American population reap over 50% of the income made on Capital Gains and the executive pay for CEOs has risen to more than 343 times that of the average worker at the company.

Because despite the scoffing at the 99% slogan from rightwingers, who were pre-programed to hate OWS, what they and the 99% need to know is:

1) There is a Club and 2) You are not in it.

Because the average amount the Richest 1% will save from the Bush/Obama Tax cuts ($66,384 USC) is greater than the average salary of the 99% ($58,506 USC).

Megyn Kelly and Bill O'Reilly had a nice back and forth wherein they tut-tuted anyone who would try to monday-morning quarterback police actions. As I've posted years ago, I will never question a Officer's split-second heat of the moment decision when faced with a dynamic situation, but the images of Lt. Pike walking back and forth, and in the best tradition of the Inquisition showing his intended victims the instruments of their torture, before unloading a huge container of OC Spray does not qualify.

However, Megyn Kelly then proceeded to tell Bill O'Reilly “It’s a derivative of actual pepper, it’s a food product, essentially. A lot of experts are looking at saying is that the real deal. Has it been diluted?” O’Reilly, thinking that the product used on the students wasn’t too severe, said, “They should have had more of a reaction, than that!”

As a Police Officer and Marine Corps Veteran I have experienced OC Spray, the Taser and gone through the Marine Corps gas chamber multiple times. Why is it ignorant Republicans and clueless Rightwingers feel empowered to speak about things with which they have no experience?

In one of the interminable Republican debates, Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann declared their full support for the continued practice of Water boarding, i.e. Torture. But, unlike the military she seeks to lead as Commander-in-Chief, Bachmann declared "It would be stupid for the the President [i.e. her] to be water boarded!"

Well, to the Honorable Mrs. Bachmann, you are on the House Select Committee for Intelligence, as a precaution you need to experience SERE school and water boarding in order to know who to resist it. And Mr. Cain you under suspicion of potential crimes, in order to fully ascertain what you did and did not do, you need to undergo water boarding. After all if you have nothing to hide...

So, just like with torture, Faux News is creating a cloud of utter bullshit to dupe their viewers. Faux News viewers, a group so misinformed and deluded, they are worse off than those who watch no news at all.

Newt Gingrich is a perfect epitome of the Republican Party. Let's put aside his puffy-faced, expansive derriere, bulbous belly, giant swooping helmet hair and focus on his inane statements. Paul Krugman, via Ezra Klein, perfectly describes Newt as "he's a stupid man's idea of what a smart man sounds like..."

When Pinot Paul Ryan (ooh he's soooo dreamy!) unveiled his Fuck You, America the Republicans are stealing your Medicare and Social Security, Newt blasted it as "rightwing social engineering".R. Limbaugh and the Rightwing demanded Newt genuflect and repent. Newt dutifully did this by stating, "[A]ny ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood."

Gingrich has now revealed his plan to steal Social Security and roll it into Wall Street. Gingrich didn't use the term "privitaztion" because after George W. Bush's debacle failed in 2005, Republicans have tried different labels.

Basically, Gingrich's plan would eliminate pay-as-you-go, guaranteed-benefit system to a system of individual retirement accounts in which workers invest in stocks, bonds and mutual funds during their working lives and use the proceeds of those investments during retirement.

So, when Goldman Sachs invents another derivative scheme and knowingly peddles junk investments but tells you they are Triple A rated when in fact they are worthless when you go to collect, Oops, that's the Free Market! You should have done better diligence as the investor!

Of course, delving into a little of Newt's history we could start with his ridiculous infidelity and hypocrisy punctuated by the infamous 'cancer-bed divorce story'. While, the true story of Newt divorcing his cancer-stricken first wife isn't as bad as has been told, Newt did get her to sign divorce papers as she was convalescing from cancer-treatments so he could bed his new wife until Newt started cheating on his that wife while bemoaning Bill Clinton's cheating. As a perfect republican Gingrich isn't merely a hypocrite when it comes to sexual peccadilloes but also money. It was recently revealed that Gingrich earned $1.6 Million USC acting as a DC Insider lobbyist for Freddie Mac. Gingrich defended himself by saying he was hired as a historian. History has never been so profitable!

But, Gingrich is able to hold two separate ideas in his head similtaneously! Thus when confronted on the facts of his 35 year Hisotry in Washington DC Newt stated he's both a Washington DC Insider and a Washington DC Outsider!

On foreign policy: When President Obama declared the Libya Mission, the Right floundered around trying to figure out how to vilify the President while keeping their pretend Support the Troops label. Nobody on the Right floundered as much as Newt Gingrich. Like a stack of flabby flapjacks, Newt flip-flopped between supporting bombing and not supporting any intervention. Finally ending with... with... Well, he flopped around so much I don't know what viewpoint Gingrich concluded upon.

Now the reason Gingrich probably didn't know how to bash the President on Libya was last year Dinesh D'Souza released a hilariously titled "Roots" book which proclaimed Barack Obama is ruled by the african muslim ghost of his dead father to overthrow and kill whitey. Newt Gingrich chimed in, “What if Obama is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]? That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”

Gingrich's "Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior" statement caused David Frum to ask, Why do Forbes (which presumably has many choices of cover material) and Gingrich imagine that such a message will resonate with their conservative audience?

On jobs: Gingrich has a plan to fire janitors and hire their 9 year old kids to take their jobs. Gingrich proclaimed,

“It is tragic what we do in the poorest neighborhoods, entrapping children in, first of all, child laws, which are truly stupid. Most of these schools ought to get rid of the unionized janitors, have one master janitor and pay local students to take care of the school.”

Newt's never had a real job so I'm sure he's never seen what a Custodian does everyday but, what a plan! Eliminate jobs from working class adults and distract and demean minority and disadvantaged students by making them pick up the trash and clean up the messes of their fellow students. Meanwhile, children of the proper class would need not suffer the ignominy of cleaning because the sons of janitors would be relegated to that task as befits their station.

The recent criminal violence by Police Officers directed at the #Occupy Protesters is merely a symptom of the Overall Disease which plagues America; The Infestation of the Nation by the 1%. I use the terms very purposefully because what we have seen besides Criminal Behavior by the Police (at the direction of their 1%) is a orchestrated campaign of dehumanization from Rightwing Propagandists and servants of the Plutocracy designed to create conditions were conservatives support violence against the 99%.

It's a daily barrage of loaded terms, bigoted labels, and dehumanizating castigation of the #Occupy Movement which has seeped into and now permeates every rightwing blog and news site. It's also a very old tactic. And if you should happen to be so skeptical that the Rightwing Media of this Nation is being pulled/directed/massaged towards vilifying and lying about OWS, you are not paying attention.

The Images of Police Brutality, including the wantonly sadistic spraying of the seated protesters at UC Davis, the pepper spraying of an 84 year old woman at #OccupySeattle and the open mouthed close ranged shot at the N17 OWS have galvanized the Occupiers and delighted the sick, twisted and deranged conservatives.

But, it's a sideshow.

The 1% are ecstatic OWS and #Occupy are being side-tracked into civil rights complaints against individual officers or even whole Police Departments, because it takes the spotlight off of them. The 1% always want the focus off themselves, it keeps allowing them to get away with Plunder.

Now, from the images I think the Officers committed crimes. But, everyone should realize the Officers in question are going to parse their reports with just the right verbiage, i.e. 'a volatile situation, fear for my and my fellow officers safety, the body language of the protesters indicated willful disobedience to my lawful instructions, proper use of force, etc', that they probably will escape criminal punishment and at most will receive administrative discipline from their Departments.

But, remember the Officers are the Tools of the Oppressors. These conflicts with Police have been what the 1% have been dreaming about and hoping for since OWS began on September 17th. Do not let them succeed in dividing the 99%.

These officers and their actions must be condemned (and punished) but the focus must always be turned back to the 1%, the Oppressors. The Goal must be to Destroy the Plutocracy and return the American Dream to the 99%

N17 OccupyChi Mass Action, Rahm Emmanuel's Budget and the 1%

The N17 #Occupy Mass Action was powerful. The March in Chicago followed by the General Assembly (GA) at the Thompson Center is an indication the bitter Chicago Winter will not be enough to dissapate the Occupiers.

Attending OccupyChi GA's is informative and inspiring. It's a functioning example of Direct Democracy what the 1% now appears desperate to stop. However, unlike, the other #OccupyMovements, Chicago has not had a large long lasting entrenched Protest site. For that reason, Chicago has also not seen the massive over-the-top paramilitary sweep and clear bulldozer operations Oakland and New York and now several other cities have experienced.

46 arrests were made, but The Full-Lockdown 1% Solution has yet to be applied to OccupyChi.org. Although the previous arrests of almost 50 little old ladies, members of the Jane Addams Senior Caucus, was bad enough.

At the N17 OccupyChi GA, the big item on the agenda was Rahm Emmanuel's 2012 Budget. It was correctly pointed out this budget, like all Austerity Plans, is solely for the benefit of the 1% and at the expense of the 99%.

The Stack, which included a CTA member, a CPS teacher, a long time striker against the Congress Hotel, an OccupySouthSide leader, an off-topic Ron Paulian, and several others focused on specifically condemning Rahm Emmanuel and his budget, and the decision to close of 6 of 12 Mental Health Facilities in Chicago while the others will be privatized. Of all the 99%, those suffering from mental illness or disability are the least able to defend themselves.

Several Beautiful Protesters from the November 15th Mental Health Care Action held at City Hall also spoke. Those protesters spent over 10 hours outside Rahm's office denouncing his budgetary decision to close the clinics.

But, here's the problem. While I fully support condemning Rahm's 2012 Budget, Emmanuel is a tool. Rahm is merely the pruning shears for the 1%. The key is to identify his holders. Who are the Companies which will control these privatized mental health hospitals? Who's on the boards of the Companies? How much will they reap from rationing care to the disabled? What kind of exclusive contracts have they signed to provide mandatory care? What expenses will these private companies be able to illegally slough off onto the people, as Illinois Blue Cross Blue Shield did*, while the profits are funneled to their off-shore accounts?

Rahm's budget is akin to Paul Ryan's Coupon for HealthCare or Scott Walker's Union Busting. The 1% will always be able to find a willing political tool to carry out their orders and steal the wealth of this nation. The key is not to break the tools but to "break" the hands of the 1% thus loosening their stranglehold on the Nation and We, the People forever.

*- Illinois Blue Cross Blue Shield, the states' largest health insurance company, paid $25 million to settle allegations that it denied coverage to sick children in need of nursing care by "fraudulently" shifting their claims to the state's Medicaid program.

Early in the morning, Mayor Bloomberg ordered the NYPD to conduct a sweep-and-clear paramilitary style raid on Zuccotti Park. The 1% have allowed this little rebellion to go on long enough. The Plutocracy would prefer if you just sat back and accepted your enslavement and Classacre (Class Massacre) and stayed silent.

As with all Iron Fisted Tyrants, Bloomberg, the handmadien of the 1%, cited the health and well-being of the protesters for the necessity of the violent crackdown. And the removal was conducted in the early am, after the Brooklyn Bridge has been shut down till 0600 hours, and with media persons being specifically moved to an area away from were the beatings, pepper-spray, tear gas, mass arrests, destruction of private property and use of bulldozers to roust OWS occurred.This isn't the first #Occupy to be removed with in the early morning with the use of heavy machinery and paramilitary action.

The first one was a restraining order allowing the Protesters to return and stopping Bloomberg and the NYPD from interfering at all with OWS.

However, the second one was not so beneficial to #Occupy. tT also shows the level of duplicitious chicanery the 1% are always willing to stoop too, to stop the 99%. It stops all "Camping" in the Park. OWS is not Camping. It is Protest. It is a Righteous Shout against the Economic Inequality and Legalized Theivery the 1% have set up in this Nation. But, it's the 1% legalese solution to stifling dissent and outlawing Democracy. By labeling it "camping" the 1% empower their political, media, and law enforcement dogs to disrupt, detain and beat those who attempt to return.

Corporations are the biggest moochers in history.

Over the last three years, 78 corporations had at least one year where they paid no federal income tax at all, while 30 corporations paid ZERO over the entire three years. Even though those 30 Corporations made $160 billion in profits over that period.

Halliburton and their subsidiaries received Billions in No Bid Contracts from their Moocher buddies under the Bush Administration.

These Corporations, Lockheed Martin ($61 Million) Boeing ($644 Million), Northrop Grumann ($410 Million), admitted to stealing Millions via fraudulent contracts through the DoD.

The Corporations, Chevron, Shell, BP, ConocoPhillips and Exxon Mobil receive Billions in Tax Payer dollars from the US Government via subsidies which were crafted as early as 1916.

All of these Moocher Corporations are protected by the Republican Party, many members of the Democratic Party, increasingly Paramilitary Police Forces and a Corporate Media World which shields and succors them.

And these Political and Media Attack Dogs defend their Moneyed Masters with cries of Socialism! We do have in America is Socialism. For the 1%.

Without the wealthy owners of million-dollar mansions paying $25,000 and $50,000 annual property tax bills, there is no funding for public schools. Without the wealthy paying into Medicare, there is no “free” healthcare for the elderly. Without capitalists motivated by profit, there are no discoveries to eradicate polio or create miraculous cancer and AIDS drugs. Without capitalists motivated by profit, there are no jobs, period! Conservatives Love when Veterans commit Suicide and Cheer when Police Attack Protesters and Veterans

In 2005, when asked about Government spending on Veterans George W. Bush's Pentagon's undersecretary for personnel and readiness, David Chu said, "The amounts have gotten to the point where they are hurtful. They are taking away from the nation's ability to defend itself."

Since OWS, Conservatives scum skimmers and smear merchants have made it their mission to destroy the Movement. They do this because OWS and #Occupy are telling the truth about the the Plutocratic Elites and the awfulness of conservatism which, is wittingly aiding the transfer of wealth to the Richest 1% while forcing the 99% into wage slavery.

Every story about OWS on the major conservative sites and thus re-posted on all the group-think rightwing blogs has tried to cast OWS as an extremist movement. Therefore, as the #Occupy Movement has gained steam, the Right has called for what it always calls for, the Violent Crackdown of political opponents by Government Officials.

This is the true nature of Rightwingers. When faced with a political movement they disagree with (although let's be clear the Right hates and fantasizes about killing Liberals and the members of Democratic Party) they immediately call on Power of Government to eliminate their political opposition.

Instead conservative chicken hawk liar Jim Hoft, slandered Olsen, until it was shown the Hoft's slanders were not about the Marine Corps Vet Scott Olsen, then just like all rightwing smear merhcants, Hoft doubled down.

If the Rightwing actually cared about to help Veterans instead of turning a blind eye to their endemic plight of homelessness and suicide, they'd push for increased taxes on Corporate Thieves who use the military to increase their bottom line and then slyly leave the physically and mentally broken Vets to be taken care of by the government.

Instead, the recent suicide of Veteran at the OccupyVermont camp has been used by Conservatives as a call for ending the #OccupyMovement. The only Veteran Conservatives love is a dead Veteran. Because then Ann Coulter and Sean Hannity can stick their perverted inhuman ideology onto the lips of the dead Veterans, as they did with Pat Tillman. But, when it turns out Tillman was anti-war and fought against every part of the despicable conservative policies. Toxic conservative garbage Ann Coutler will simply say, "I don't believe it." Chicken Hawk Hannity concurs, "I don't believe it either."

And that is why even though Veterans are joining the ranks of OWS, because if one group can see how the American Capitalist system chews up and spits out people it is Veterans. So, Sean Hannity calls Veterans and Teachers at the OWS Protests, "Skinhead Nazi Pyschos". Andrew Breitbart compares OWS to Al Qaeda and 9/11.

Instead of actually listening to OWS, the Rightwing is fixated on President Obama. The Right is furiously trying to proclaim OWS as Obama and Rahm "Chicago-Style Gangster Politics". Proving first that they know nothing about OWS, #Occupy in general, and OccupyChi specifically.

It's fright you hear belching forth from the conservative toxic garbage mouths. They are bereft of ideas. In just one year Representative Joe Walsh has shown the ugly face of modern conservative thought. Joe Walsh has no facts to back up his position but if you yell loud enough and swear you win the argument. Thus we have Joe Walsh screaming about how the 99% know the Republican Big Zombie Lie is false:

Bruce Fancher Battles the Barbarians of Zuccotti Park (Rightwing Smear Campaign)

Seriously, "The Barbarians of Zuccotti Park" is like something out of the Robert E. Howard universe.

Anyway a "Hobbyist Photographer" named Bruce Fancher had his story transcribed in the National Review Online. Here is the recounting of that most horrible of days;

Bruce was taking photographs of tents when a man approached him and told to him to “have some respect.” He calmly explained that it was a public park and he had every right to be there. Before he knew it, his camera had been smacked out of his hands, and his face had been punched. Bleeding fairly heavily from his nose, he went and described the assault to one of the many policeman in the square. An ambulance was called, and arrived almost immediately. When she was finished, the EMT told him that it was the “fourteenth assault” to which she had personally been called.

The professionalism of the first responders stopped there, however. “There is a certain expectation of the police,” Bruce told me, but service was not forthcoming: The NYPD officer steadfastly refused to go back into the park, suggesting that to do so would “cause a riot.” As a result, the assailant, described as “light, about 28 years old, muscular, short hair, and well dressed,” got away unpunished. When he described the attack to the reporting cop, the reaction was “indifference. I may as well have told him that it was going to rain tomorrow.” He received little sympathy from the OWS crowd either. Amazingly, “no one saw anything,” and no help was proferred. Perhaps “love for all” doesn’t apply as universally as advertised in the commune.

Ha ha ha! As a cop I can't tell you how many times I've heard the 'Oh officer I was blissfully minding my own business when this awful evil man appeared and without provocation beat me up'.

The "No one saw anything" should be the kicker, that this didn't happen the way old Bruce Fancher (a.k.a. Dead Lord / a.k.a. Timberwolf) described. But, we are living in an age of BS conservative smears and lying rightwing hacks (or in this case hacker). The amazing thing about this story is the absolute full faith the conservatives have that Fancher's version of events is 100% true and accurate.

What's the name of the EMT? What are the case numbers for the alleged "14 previous assaults"? What's the names of the Officers, Fancher talked to? These facts are missing from this story. What most likely happened was a scuffle of some kind but Fancher probably caught the worst of it, but telling the truth to the Cops that he was an active participant in a fight doesn't go a long way to providing the Rightwing with the beloved evidence of OWS thuggery.

It's the story of the young white McCain staffer having a B carved into her face by an evil Obama supporter. Conservatives are only too eager and willing to accept every story that conforms to their views. But, of course, the fact that everyone commenting on the story wasn't there should also give make conservatives pause before ranting about the evil leftists but that sort of skepticism is far too much to ask of rightwing ninnies.

Unfortunately, more than a year after the election, the campaign against Palin continues unabated. Today's so-called "fact-checking" article by the Associated Press is so ridiculous that it almost reads as a parody. For example, the eleven (!) contributors to the article take on the role of mind-readers, challenging Palin's claim that she was driven by "purpose" instead of "ambition" by characterizing her book as having "all the characteristics of a pre-campaign manifesto." As PJ O'Rourke says, Liberalism is just Marxism by the glass. It's mind-boggling to think how much of a narciscist someone has to be to imagine that they have the knowledge and wisdom to write a plan to bring to peace and happiness to an entire country. And how out of touch they need to be to imagine that anyone else outside of a small fringe is going to even pay attention.

I wasn't there so I don't know what happened for certain. But, reading this story it's clearly an emotional plea. It's loaded with word usage designed to appeal to the reptilian conservative brain; All of Bruce's actions were cool and collected "He calmly explained" and all the actions by the OWS leftists were viscous, unwarranted and evil.

Additionally, I don't know why when rightwing poseurs and hacks recount their attempts at instigation and the ensuing altercations they write these kind of statements; "Perhaps "love for all" doesn't apply as universally as advertised in the commune." Why do conservatives expect liberals to be tolerant and open to their ignorance, bigotry and hostility? The quote from Karl Popper applies most aptly,

"We should therefore claim, in the name of tolerance, the right not to tolerate the intolerant."

Of course, those were crafted by the Dick Armey and Koch Brothers for 1% fueled and financed Tea Party. #Occupy and OWS are true grassroots movements.

John Hinderaker posted a video on his Powerline blog, with the headline Rampaging Occupiers Attack 78-year old Woman The evidence? Why strangely (or purposefully) the video fails to capture the moment of the "attack", but does show two elderly ladies at different times and different areas having fallen to the ground and being helped to their feet by police/security personnel.

Oddly, at this same rally, a One Percenter ran over 3 protesters and then ran into another group of protesters with his car. The Rightwing response? Applause and fantasizing about doing it themselves or shooting the protesters.

Glenn Beck's The Blaze, Hotair, FreeRepublic, Erick Erickson's Red State blog and Yahoo news stories are now replete with conservatives calling for fire hoses, clubbing, violence and police brutality. When a peaceful protester was shot by a Oakland Police Officer,

“While filming a police line at Occupy Oakland after midnight on Nov. 3 following the Nov. 2 general strike, an officer opens fire and shoots me with a rubber bullet. [Probably a bean-bag round G_e_G] I was standing well back. There was no violence or confrontations of any kind underway. At 0:31 seconds you can see a tall officer in the front raise his weapon and then fire. This is the full clip of the incident.”

Conservatives cheer.

Conservatism is Terrorism. It's designed to push the majority of Americans into penury and wage slavery. It's Orwellian in it's language and actions.

But, despite the worst efforts of the Breitbart and his ilk, by an overwhelming majority, the American People know Wall Street and their wholly owned Republican Party are responsible for the economic calamity. The Top 3 causes of the Republican Recession are:

1) Investment Firms and Banks making Risky Loans and Investments,
2) American Companies not investing in creating jobs in America,

Before, getting to the details do you know what the best thing about this story is? OWS and the 99 have made Joe Walsh irrelevant! Joe Walsh had dreams of becoming the next Newt Gingrich or at least Michele Bachmann. But, Joe isn't going to win re-election, and in one years time he'll be reduced to hawking his wares to whatever lobbyist firm or off-hour Rightwing news station will have him.

Joe Walsh is a beloved Tea Party Freshman, that is he is loved by people outside his district. In his district Walsh is basically playing out the string. Walsh has no ideas, Walsh has advanced no issues, and Walsh has done nothing to help his constituents. But, Tea Party racists love him because Walsh made youtube videos and MSNBC appearances this year screaming Obama is Black! and "American Jews aren't Pro-Israel enough."

Now, an amusing thing about Joe Walsh is his record. If the Tea Party knew about his previous political record and the long list of personal and financial disasters, disregard for the law and political positions they would... Well, they would probably not care because IOKIYAR!

What Joe Walsh did in 2010 was cash in on a particular, and now defunct, moment in American politics. Joe Walsh will pretend to be whatever you want as evidenced by the last 3 decades of his career.

During the 1980's Walsh tried to be an actor. And while he was apparently unsuccessful he never stopped acting and this set him up for the future.

In the 1990s when Clinton-ian 'Fiscal Conservative/Social Liberal' catch-phrase was popular, Walsh in one of his runs for office identified himself as such. Walsh even went so far as to use President Clinton's phraseology on abortion, declaring he wanted it safe, rare and legal. I'm sure the Teabaggers would love to know that Joe Walsh and Bill Clinton hold the same ideals.

In the early 2000s, Joe Walsh has had his Illinois Driver's License Suspended, left his wife, stopped caring for his kids and jetted off to Mexico with his mistress.

So, the supreme irony, the absolute inconvertible evidence of Rightwing Hypocrisy, the fact that exposes the lie of so-called Conservative Personal Responsibility is Joe Walsh owes $117,000 dollars in back child support.

When the story broke, Walsh went on the offensive declaring the story was a hit-job on him because he was fighting the good fight in Washington D.C. But, as more evidence grew Walsh tried to throw up some bullshit. First, in a fit of puerile impotence sued his ex-wife for asking for the $117,000 in back child support he hasn't paid. Next, Walsh declared in their October Court appearance that he had a "verbal agreement" with his wife not to pay child support.

As a police officer, having dealt with hundreds of Domestic Dispute calls this "verbal agreement" Walsh cites most likely, went like this,

'Laura? It's Joe. Yeah, F**K You B*tch I ain't paying you any more. Yeah, take it to court! You think a Judge is going to rule against me? I'm a man. Suck it baby.'

Please note that my paraphrased Walsh comments are very probably quite accurate as I've listened to Joe Walsh in person and on television often.

After the Court ruled against him, “I don’t know why my ex-wife filed this complaint last December, three weeks after I was elected a U.S. congressman.” Walsh provided $35,000 dollars to fund his 2010 campaign. His ex-wife Laura has been fighting Walsh for 9 years trying to get him to pay money to raise his children. So, yeah Joe tell it to the Judge...

Boeing the Biggest Thief in the United States

Chicago based Boeing has paid over $644 Million Dollars to the Pentagon and the Government Accountability Office to settle fraud complaints, since 2000. Yet, Boeing is still be awarded enormous ~~Welfare Handouts~~ errr, DoD contracts. It's difficult to get an exact total but I've seen credible figures that show Boeing, alone, has been awarded over $90 Billion in DoD contracts since 2006.

Yet, the Chicago Tribune has spent a better part of this year highlighting individual cases of pension fraud. Because theft is wrong and Unionized pension theft is really wrong since it's stealing tax payer money, just like Boeing but on such microscopic scale in comparison. However, the last article on Boeing from the Chicago Tribune is from October 26 and it highlights the $17.7 Billion in revenue and $1.1 Billion in profits boeing made in the 3rd Quarter of 2011.

It would be easy for any company to post Quarterly profits in the Billions when they are committing case after case and Hundreds of Millions in fraud (a nice white collar word for Theft). So, why is it when a Corporation like Boeing commits theft on a massive and Nation ruining scale, the presses are silent?

When a Corporate Criminal Enterprise known as Boeing attempts to bust their Union;

Boeing officials said in a video-taped press statement that, "the overriding factor (in transferring the line) was not the business climate. And it was not the wages we’re paying today. It was that we cannot afford to have a work stoppage, you know, every three years."

why is the press not running a news story everyday as with the individual cases of thousands of dollars in pension theft?

Why when Boeing attempts to harm American workers and turns to the Republican Party for aid in eliminating workers jobs and slashing workers rights is there so little coverage by the major newspaper in the city, in which, that company is Headquartered?

Why does the Tribune not ask Republican Congressman Darrel Issa, the richest member of Congress, to recuse himself from the Boeing and National Labor Relations Board case? Why?

Because, when Workers get all uppity and shit it's time to bring in the Republican One Percenters like Darrel Issa to aid a Criminal Corporate Enterprises in undercutting government regulations and workers rights, safety and... Jobs. The role of the Republican Party is to keep the 99% down.

New York Billionaire Mike Bloomberg, angry that his beloved 1% are correctly being blamed for Wall Street's Rigged Toxic Economic System which led to the current Financial Disaster, recently told the OWS protests; "I hear your complaints. Some of them are totally unfounded. It was not the banks that created the mortgage crisis. It was, plain and simple, Congress who forced everybody to go and give mortgages to people who were on the cusp."

Thank You Mayor Bloomberg for pointing out this Economic Disaster was accomplished at the behest of the 1% by the REPUBLICAN PARTY. This is a Republican Recession. This is the Economic Collapse is the Fault of the Republican Party.

Okay not exactly, the current Recession is being pushed on America by the Rich 1% Plutocrats with the vicious Republican dogs and conservative dupes aiding them. Bloomberg can't help himself. His Aristocratic sensibilities are offended by the sight of the 99% expressing their 1st Amendment Rights. But, Bloomberg can't wallow in the mud like Faux News "Reporters" or Conservative Smear Merchants.

Bloomberg isn't the only angry One Percenter, BofA CEO Brian T. Moynihan is "incensed" by the plebes. How dare these OWS types not recognize their Moneyed Masters beneficence! "I, like you [speaking to BofA Executives], get a little incensed when you think about how much good all of you do, whether it's volunteer hours, charitable giving we do, serving clients and customers well," Moynihan said. Addressing critics, he said, "You ought to think a little about that before you start yelling at us."

But, let's not forget the Wall Street Criminals and Bank Thieves could not have accomplished this theft of Billions without the aid of the Republican Party. But, unlike what the alternate reality the Rightwing revisionists are trying to sell these days the Government didn't force any bank, any lender to make these loans. The Banksters and Wall Street Criminals wanted the housing bubble and choose the Republicans in Congress and the White House to push through legislation making their crimes "legal".

It doesn't even start with Senator Phill Gramm or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley repeal of Glass-Steagal in 2000. It doesn't end with the Heritage Foundation's 2001 ridiculous claims the Bush Tax Cuts on the Wealthy would accomplish the following:

1) Effectively pay off the federal debt;
2) Reduce the federal surplus by $1.4 trillion;
3) Substantially increase family income;
4) Save the entire Social Security surplus;
5) Increase personal savings;
6) Create more job opportunities.

No this Republican Recession is not an accident. It is the culmination of the Republican Party's Owners to shrink Government down to be drowned in a bathtub. The despicable Grover Norquist, originator of the Drowning phrase, longtime conservative smear merchant, long-time partner of convicted criminal Jack Abramoff, president of the conservative Americans for Tax Reform, said President Bush will be remembered “long after people can no longer pronounce or spell Fallujah.”

And Grover will be correct. Bush's "Ownership Society" ideals, which began when he was Governor of Texas in the 1990s, will be remembered in US History classes as the either, the realization of a long held Republican goal, the destruction of the Middle Class, the largest Transfer of Wealth to the Richest 1%, and the creation of perpetual Wage Slavery for America or the rise of #Occupy and the beginning of the Renaissance of the American People.

Once Bush got into the White House (and in his spare time of ordering Americans to torture, making up stories about phantom Iraqi WMDs, and not spending much time worrying about Osama Bin Laden) Bush was aiding and abetting Alan Greenspan and the Wall Street Thieves in creating an financial housing bubble in which Wall Street would end up receiving Trillions of dollars under the guise of helping everyone own a home, "And part of it is working together as a Nation to encourage folks to own their home." President George W. Bush, Oct. 15, 2002.

The really bad credit default swaps, the really divorced from reality derivative gambling, the really evil chop and blend bundling of worthless toxic assets into AAA rated loans occurred between 2002-2006, at a time the White House, Supreme Court, House of Representatives, and Senate were all completely dominated by Republicans.

Republicans are in the business of destroying Government. But, Republicans never take blame and for what they have deliberately wrought. So even though private sector loans were responsible,

So we have Republicans at the behest of their Moneyed Masters enacting policies, rigging laws, and ignoring crimes which has nearly destroyed the Nation, has made millions of Americans unemployed and plunged the 99% into a spiral of destitution which will take a decades long radical battle against the 1%, who will spend every second cheating, stealing, buying politicians, rewriting laws, rigging elections, altering textbooks and the historical narrative, employing thousands of rightwing hacks at conservative think tanks and, yes, relying on Govenrment officials to discourage, harass, arrest and beat We, the 99%.

Woe, be to the petty thief or criminal. Bruce Judson points out thousands of #Occupy Protesters have been forcibly and oft times violently beaten, pepper sprayed and then arrested yet the Bankers and Wall Street Criminals are not only not being paraded to jail in silver bracelets but continue to enjoy the financial fruits of their crimes.

Almost 3,000 people have been arrested for activities that caused minimal, if any, injury to our society. At the same time, no financiers have been arrested for blatant legal violations, probably including extensive fraud, which have led millions of people to suffer and have practically brought our great nation to its knees.

They went after Bernie Madoff only because he stole from the Rich. Remember the Rich operate by a different set of rules. And it's these Different Rules (i.e. Laws) which have allowed these Banking Criminals and DoD Defrauders to amass huge fortunes. It is NOT as the Republican Party would have you believe that Wall Street succeeds by superior drive, work ethic, motivation, talent and gumption.

Matt Taibbi points out Wall Street Hoods and Thieves aren't winning by working harder or smarter, they are getting ahead by Cheating and by paying off Policing agents and by rewriting laws to make their crimes legal.

[I]nequities are what drive the OWS protests. People don't want handouts. It's not a class uprising and they don't want civil war -- they want just the opposite. They want everyone to live in the same country, and live by the same rules. It's amazing that some people think that that's asking a lot.

For instance, the changes I would like to see are:

1) End Corporate Personhood.
2) Tax Capital Gains Income as Ordinary Income, increase and collect taxes from Corporate cheats like Verizon, Boeing, BP, and Halliburton, raise the top tax rate to pre-Reagan era levels.
3) Reinstitute the Stock Trade and Exchange Tax at around 0.25%. Make Banks and Wall Street gamblers pay for their own bailouts. We had one from 1914 to 1966.
4) Empower the Consumer Protection Agency, Security and Exchange Commission, DoD Oversight and any other committee which will enforce laws and actually regulate and hold accountable these corrupt Corporate Criminals.

But, despite the obvious appeal to natural law, US legal precedents, equal treatment, and economic fairness, the 1% are deploying their Rightwing Smear Merchants and handpicked Republicans to obfuscate, distort and Lie.

The images from the Police dispersing OccupyOakland apparently with tear gas, "flash-bangs", and shotgun fired beanbags rounds (all of which the Oakland PD deny using) are disturbing. But, not shocking. These actions are what the 1% want from Police across the country. The Police have always been tasked with keeping the Demos in line, mainly with petty criminal statutes but when necessary by mass arrests in sweep and clear paramilitary type operations. So, as in Boston and other cities the Oakland Police Chief and Command Structure have just ensured enmity between Police Officers and People for a couple decades.

As always Police Officers are put in the worst position, just like front line soldiers, because the Rich and Powerful REMFers never, ever place their "skin in the game". Just remember while the 4 am raids are going on, Racist Limbaugh is "Dreaming of Riots in Denver."

Now, the Occupation protests present a huge tactical and logistical nightmare for Public Officials and Police Officers. There is, unfortunately, a likelihood of crime occurring in these make-shift encampments. Plus, when one adds in the waste management and trash disposal issues, not too many cities want a shanty-town to grow up in their midsts. But, the thing that is really driving the massive arrests and violence against American citizens is the message they are bringing;

Stop catering to and enforcing the Whims of the Wealthy. Stop the Classacre upon the Middle and Working Classes.

The Big Picture success of OWS has been the shifting of the focus from austerity measures (i.e. The Massive Transfer of Wealth Upwards) and to addressing the struggle of the 99% and the terrible burden the Entitled 1% have caused with their blatant criminal greed and thievery. OWS has caused a fundamental shift, which the 1% are desperate to shut down.

But, to me the #OccupyRevolutions more impressive accomplishments are how, in less than a month's time, their experiment in direct democracy is succeeding, while also handling the day-to-day issues of food preparation & distribution network, internal security measures, medical services, trash removal and sanitation. As a Police Officer and a Big Government loving liberal I applaud their efforts to regulate, clean up, and police the area.

When I first went downtonw to OccupyChi, I was encouraged because some of those early members had already created a police liasion. It seemed the protesters had at least grasped the idea that working with the Police to accomodate small rules would help them avoid the crackdowns the NYPD and Michael Bloomberg were exerting upon OWS.

I thought eventually the OccupyChi Protesters and the everyday down-in-the-streets Chicago officers could work to ameliorate conflicts. It would bring together a positive police presence in the encampment whom the protesters could learn to trust.

It is my opinion that officers conducting spot checks, watching for plain sight crimes and roving meet and greet patrols, amongst the Protesters while they are on public property or in the early morning hours would have fallen under the standards established by the Courts in the Terry v. Ohio ruling (Terry Stops). It could have kept unsavory or criminal elements away from the Protesters and would not have been a violation of 1st or 4th Amendment Rights.

Well, this of course, was not to be as OccupyChi has twice been cleared from Grant Park after midnight raids from the Police. The repeated raids, sweep-and-clear mass arrests, destruction of property and iron fist tactics are not going to stop.

Now after such over-the-top brutal methods the Protesters will never agree to having small bands of roving officers wandering through their encampments. Once again the 1% have successfully parlayed the Us v. Them Game.

I DO NOT agree with and shall never agree with these type of tactics. Early morning raids, tear gas, mass detentions conducted on the Protesters for what amounts to a Municipal Park District Ordinance Violation is Unconstitutional.

But, what every Police Officer should realize is once the People are crushed, once the Middle Class is forever obliterated, once we are reduced to Wage Slaves chained irrevocably to be cogs in the machines of industry and war, only a small cadre of police will needed, the rest will be disposable.

A Right Wing fanatic attacked the #OccupyMaine Camp around 0400 hours this morning.

Portland police Sgt. Glen McGary said the bomb was thrown into the camp’s kitchen, a tarped area where food is cooked and served. Protest organizers said the explosion lifted a large table about a foot off the ground.

"There was no fire . . . We had a good 20 feet of thick smoke rolling out from under the table," Wilburn said. They could see the "G" on the 24-ounce bottle and its orange cap, as well as bits of silver metal, she said.

Witnesses said a silver car had been circling before the attack, its occupants shouting things like "Get a job" and "You communist." They believe someone from that car threw the device, according to a statement from Occupy Maine.

Now, where have I heard this before?

These are Modern Conservatives; the violent willing dupes for the 1%. Ready and Able to conduct terrorist attacks for the Rich. The 1% want OWS and #Occupy stopped.

37 Corporations received $1.1 Trillion Dollars in Corporate Welfare, aka Defense Contracts. But, that's not enough for these cheats and swindlers as these companies have all committed Theft on a scale usually reserved for Wall Street Bankers.

Since 2000, Boeing has paid at least $644 Million Dollars to settle Fraud complaints. Remember how Republican scum buckets Nikki Haley and Jim DeMint cried about poor poor Boeing being targeted by mean old Obama! Did you ever wonder why Boeing ran to the Republican Party to defend them when Boeing tried to undercut American workers? #Occupy is calling for those accountable to be brought to justice.

Justice would be the end to the current American Capitalist System, which can be better described as Neo-Feudalism, with all profits privatized and all loses subsidized. It's really that simple, the 1% have been cultivating a political elite (The Republican Party and Business-Friendly Democrats) who cater to their whims, use the power of the Federal Government to control the economy and transfer Trillions of dollars into the hands of a small cadre of politicos, military leaders, lobbyists, and multi-national Corporations.

A University of Zurich study shows 147 interconnected Corporations - mainly Banks - control 40% of the World's Wealth.

We have an increasingly stratified class system in America, the problem is so many of the 99% refuse to believe the evidence before their eyes and fall back on the comfortable narrative peddled by the Guardians of the Rich.

The Republican Party and the Right Wing has to put the focus on President Obama, or SEIU, or ACORN, or Teachers, or lazy minorities because the fact is the system they set-up and tended to, is a rotten evil one in which the 1% have now garnered a vast majority of the wealth of the Nation. The 400 richest own more wealth than 150 Million Americans. The 1% own 70% of all Corporate Stocks. Since the 1960's the mobility of Middle Class families has been downward.

Tax laws and Governmental policy has focused on shifting the burden of the Nation onto the Middle Class to sow dissent, drive wages, and living standards down in the Race to the Bottom.

However, such blatant theft and oppression wouldn't last long if the 1% didn't turn around and blame others for the theft. Hence the "welfare queens" rhetoric and the entire mythos the Right wing has been incessantly repeating for 30 years.

It's never been more clear the distinction than when a grass-roots up-rising of the 99% called for an end to the Wall Street Corruption and were immediately smeared, called Nazis and infiltrated by Right Wing Agent Provocatuers. It's difficult for many to drop what they've been spoon-fed by Toxic Right Wing radio, Faux News, and Conservative Think Tanks.

For decades these organizations have been focused on convincing a sizable segment of the population the problems, the regressive tax structure, the deference to the Rich, the stagnant wages, the loss of the industrial base, the inflation, the growing disparity and tremendous inequality between the Well-Off and everyone else, lies with individuals (mainly liberals and minorities) and not the corrupt system itself.

My Portfolio is Bottoming Out while Banks are raking in the Profits

So, my quarterly financial investment portfolios came the other day. My modest 401k, 457 and Roth IRA all lost 20% of their value. Hurrah, the Free Market does everything better.

But, do you know who did not lose 20% of "their" money? Why the casinos we refer to as Banking Firms. These racketeers, gamblers, cheats, swindlers and criminals all reported Record Profits for the 3rd Quarter of 2011:

Bank of America: $6.2 Billion

JP Morgan Chase: $4.3 Billion

Wells Fargo: $4.1 Billion

Citigroup: $3.8 Billion

Where is all this money coming from? The Giant Banking Casinos are not investing in technology, they are not investing in small start-ups, they are not moving funds into the depressed areas of the United States.

What they are doing playing games shuffling electronic figures from one column to another and calling it business, conducting millions of stock-trades a second in High-Frequency Stock Trading, they're gouging people with transaction fees, they're placing "bets" and taking out hedged insurance claims on derivatives and commodities. If they guess right about a drop in the price of corn, they make money! But, no tangible good is produced. Additionally, BofA provides no benefit to the average American with his small savings account because BofA is currently providing an interest rate of 0.05%. As of the 11Q3, BofA has $53 Trillion in Total Derviatives and $1.5 Trillion in total assets.

But, wait a moment! Wow! It's appears, Bank of America has moved it's derivatives from Merril Lynch to a FDIC insured subsidiary Now why would they do that? Perhaps, because when the scope of their criminal toxic asset peddling and credit default swaps becomes known and the reckless gambling they've engaged in bottoms out, the Banksters will be bailed out once more by the American Taxpayer. Reagan Be Praised, for Government Bailouts of the criminal financial sector.

I mean Citigroup has agreed to pay a $285 Million dollar fine to the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) to settle a Fraud Complaint for their toxic housing market rebuilding scheme. After transferring Trillions of tax payer dollars upwards to the off-shore bank accounts of Warmongers, Thieves and Murderers. It's because the 1% desire that last little bit, the last morsel, Social Security and the Post Office. If the Republicans succeed in taking control of the White House and the Senate the push to privatize the money-making aspects of the Post Office will be un-stoppable, and the Trillions of Social Security will be neatly rolled into Wall Street where the natural flucuations of Free Market will ensure a few thousand people can steal those funds and funnel them into a secret UBS account in Switzerland.

Unfortunately, the US Marines are beset with rampant socialism. Worse still, many Marines, have bought into the marxist brainwashing and expect the Government to be their provider from Boot Camp to Battlefield to Beyond.

It starts early on when young Marines are indoctrinated in Boot Camp by receiving food, shelter and dental services. Even more unbelievably Marines have come to expect to have the cost of education covered by the Government. Education is not the Government's job! As the glorious Republican push to defund and eliminate public education shows, serving Marines should not expect the Government to provide them with a free education.

Well, the Corps is blessedly moving in that direction. The Marines were the first branch of the military to announce they are aiding military members by getting them off the Government tit by reducing "tuition assistance".

The Marine Corps announced Tuesday it has slashed tuition assistance by 75 percent for servicemembers who take classes on their off-duty time.

As every Republican knows public education is rampant with greedy teachers, low standards, and corruption. So, it's high time the Government stop funding these parasites, Marines included.

After serving the Marines just stick their hands out for a pension, which as everyone knows are unfair burdens on society, but unbelievably beyond that they expect free healthcare and dental care. Veterans have come to expect and rely on these Government VA Hospitals, when everyone knows they would be better off receiving one of Paul Ryan's patented Coupons for Care, with which they could go out into the godly-ordanied Free Market to haggle with healthcare providers for coverage of their TMI, PTSD and prosthetic limbs.

As Republican Marco Rubio clearly stated, Government healthcare has made Us weak and lazy!

Other conservative disinformation sites, The American Spectator for example, have also taken it upon themselves to smear and slander OWS and #Occupy. It's de rigueur for the Right to throw up as many bullshit stories and as many smear jobs as possible knowing, 'All of the people will be fooled some of the time' and 'Some of the people will be fooled all of the time.'

Just as when Republicans rammed through the Iraq War and the Patriot Act, the Rightwing has fallen solidly in line declaring those who oppose the 1% are Anti-American, Anti-Semites, Communists, Socialists, Nazis, Marxists, Terrorist Appeasers, Rawr!!! Anyone who is against the systematic and rampant Wall Street crime and corruption is actually against America. It's what the Right does every time.

Wall Street, like the criminal mobsters they are, then spelled it out clearly, "If you want to keep having jobs outscourced, keep attacking finiancial services."

OccupyChi is just the latest protest to be taken out via a local ordinance when 175 peaceful American citizens where denied their Constitutional Rights because they conflicted with the Rights of the 1% to enrich themselves on the blood and bodies of the 99%. The Chicago Police justified the arrests because,

“They were in park property after hours,” said CPD Officer Robert Perez. “There is a municipal ordinance that nobody is allowed in the park after 11 pm.”

However, in light of the Right's new found vocal support for the Police, in an attempt to set them against the 99%, it should be noted just a scant two years ago, while on the Macon Georgia city council, Erickson wrote this: I'm thinking I’ll have the City Attorney draft me legislation to dissolve the police department. Why? Because 130 officers expressed interest in forming a Union. Mayor Menino has a flawed concept of liberty and authority. Menino's concept of power and authority appears to extend only so far as he can abuse them in service to the 1%. Menino ordered early morning Police raids on OccupyBoston and 100 protestors were taken away without a violent confrontation. I applaud the OccupyBoston crowd, while having their Rights of Peaceful Assembly violated, they did not give into the Heat of the Moment and give the 1% and their goonish conservative bloggers and smear-merhcants the story they wanted, a conflict between the protesters and the Police.

Lets just be thankful Menino restrained his apparent desire to more fully ape his predecessors; for his announcement, "I will not tolerate Civil Disobedience in the city of Boston," had the tone of a Autocrat and Menino barely constrained himself from inscribing his name alongside, his heroes of yesteryear, those who ordered Ludlow 1913 or Kent State 1970 or Boston 1770.

But, as for the Police here is another stain we are going to have to live down. Another generation is being turned against us because the 1% see Police Officers as little different than the other 99%. And the 1% doesn't give a shit if you die because of it.

One of the cries amongst the Defenders of the Rich is the OccupyAmericaRevolution is being conducted by people who use products created by Corporations. Ha ha! Gotcha! You stupid leftist hippies are committing moral hypocrisy. Products are made by corporations.

It reminds me of the time, while I was in the Corps when I asked a fellow devildog how he could justify the deaths of innocents in Iraq. He got kind of upset by that and while we debated around the Just War Theory he ended up, and I'll paraphrase, 'You're an atheist so you get to live a life of debauchery but, you can't chide me on the deaths of innocents because I'm a christian, therefore already ahead of you morally, and asking me to stand against an unjust war and the deaths of innocents is not allowable.'

So Gus Lubin over at Business Insider has a photo of the OWS overlayed with captions highlighting smartphones, clothing and other products being used by the protesters. Ha ha!

It's a variation on the 'You can't be against the Iraq War if you drive a car' and stems from the Fallacy that in order to combat indecency you have to be a paragon of Righteousness.

Well, We are the 99% not the Amish... One need not divest themselves of every modern manufactured product in order to decry inhumane working conditions, rampant pollution, violations of law or union busting behavior by Corporations.

But, now the real effort to delegitimize the Occupy America Movement is underway. By the other old, time-honored Rightwing tactic, the propaganda smear campaign. The Plutocracy rallied their guardians and man-servants in the Elite Media to begin publishing sneering and snotty articles about the uncouthness and general offensive nature of the dress and mannerisms of plebeians.

Bill Zeiser gives it away when he describes his fashion sense and illustrates those who idolize and defend the Rich continue to absorb the lessons of history, that if you dress like the Rich perhaps you can pretend to be one of them.

3 Weeks ago Glenn Beck was chuckling, about what he described as Wall Street protest FAIL:

"The attempt by radical leftists, communists, socialists, anarchists and more to occupy Wall Street didn’t go as well as they hoped it would. A little short on the protesters and a little short on the ‘occupation’ part of the promised action to camp out and occupy Wall Street. NYPD basically shut that option down before they got there..."

Now, the Multi-Millionaire Beck is worried,

"Capitalists, if you think that you can play footsie with these people, you are wrong. They will come for you and drag you into the streets and kill you. They will do it. They’re not messing around. Those in the media – and I am included in this – they will drag us out into the streets and kill us. If you’re wealthy, they will kill you for what you have. You cannot tolerate this kind of stuff. You certainly do not encourage it.”

I've attended the OccupyChi Revolution at LaSalle and Jackson several times now. I'm not a member nor do I claim to speak for the movement. But, I have directly spoken with several members, their legal counsel and observed their street meetings. The group has twice daily official meetings along with impromptu ones in which ideas are tabled and voted upon. One of the things always discussed in the meetings is the agreement amongst all they will accomplish their goals by non-violent means. It's an exercise in Direct Democracy, something the Political Talking Class is not very fond of and the 1% abhor.

I spent all day downtown with the OccupyChi protest and the October 8 Anti-War Rally. About 1500-2000 attended the Anti-War March and many marched over to LaSalle and Jackson and recounted their stories of financial ruin at the hands of the Banksters. While we there almost every single person on top of the double-decker tour buses cheered on OccupyChi.

Well, with any large and sustained movement incidents are going to happen. On October 8th I march with the Chicago Mass Action anti-war rally which showed solidarity with OccupyChi. I only saw one confrontation during the march of roughly 2000, in which two Bike borne young CPD members got into a profanity contest with two old ladies carrying an anti-war banner (which demanded the arrest of all war criminals and mug-like shots of Bush & Obama), but it never went further than recriminations and the two officers biked away.

I did hear from a Progressive Radio Journalist from Wisconsin that their were arrests made for Battery to a Peace Officer when some protestors flicked cigarette butts at them. That is a crime cut and dried. I don't forgive behavior like that nor should anyone.

But, here's where it gets interesting. Does anyone doubt that the minds of most conservative has already been made up? Or that they will be searching for any evidence that confirms their preconceived notions (h/t: Bill Zeiser) while ignoring everything which might contradict it?

Thus, enter the Rightwing Blogosphere. Jim Hoft, of The Gateway Pundit, is one of the most dishonest rightwing conservative blogs on the internet. Hoft's posts have been routinuely debunked and discredited by Media Matters for America and Sadly, No, now has over a dozen posts from various cities attacking the Occupy America Revolution.

Well, now to get the on-the-ground assessment from several cities at the same time is quite an amazing bit of fieldwork! Is Hoft the primary source? No. Is Hoft the secondary source? No. Hoft puts up photos and videos from unidentified sources of unidentified persons and labels himself a journalist. The reason many Americans think journalism is dying in America is preceisely because for years the Rightwing has countered traditonal walk the pavement firsthand Journalism with Radio Commentators who never leave the comfort of their studio, conservative bloggers who cross-reference the same post in incestous amplification, which for the most part are propaganda hit pieces the bloggers receive from conservative "think tanks" and the rise of Faux News which offers up the most toxic reactionary opinion pieces as hard news.

Over at the corporately funded Hotair.com, Ed Morrisey seems to think a photo of people laying out sleeping bags and drying clothes in the sun indicates the OWS crowd are dirty anti-enviornmental hypocrites or something.

Looking at the photo I'm quite impressed with the orderliness of the OWS bario. But, you see the Tea Party Patriots never left a mess at their single day long events and a protest into its' 3rd week should have no sign of human occupation and normally there is no trash to be found in New York City.

What I've seen first hand at the OccupyChi site are young men and women policing up the area they are occupying sweeping up trash, picking up cigarette butts and keeping the sidewalks free of debris.

The Corporate Criminals and Wall Street Thieves are worried that the Occupy America protests are going to resonate with the people and the anger they had hoped to channel, via the Billionaire founded and funded Tea Party, towards more election victories, especially the unseating of President Obama, will be usurped and translate into the enforcement of regulations which affect their bottom line.

This protest isn't about President Obama. It's about the Thieves and their Guardians who've distorted the American Dream, have rigged the elections, have stolen Trillions, and have waged a Non-Stop War on the Middle and Working Class They thought they had done enough to silence Us for good, but We are the 99%! George W. Bush was beaming at his near accomplishment of murdering the Middle Class*. The American public and liberals everywhere have been struggling with the evil face of the conservative movement, which the common wisdom declares, has entered an unprecedented period of Reactionary Activism.

Well, it isn't. The Conservative Movement and the Tea Party are hollow shells. They were never angry at Wall Street and the Republicans for destroying the American Economy. What Republicans are preaching and teabggers and conservatives are swallowing is not some new phenomenon but an older one. The term for these heartless power worshippers is Social Darwinists**.

The Rich Plutocrats in this nation are incensed the Middle Class exists and the policies of Liberals and Progressives created a government which helped the poor and less fortunate rise. And the 1% rage and anger is not limited to being expressed whilst they sit around around in their executive corinthian leather high-backed chairs with cigars and brandy snifters. It's been out on public display.

According to the Social Darwinist Theory the Rich ascribe to, they are the Top of the Heap, they are due $700 dollar Pinot Noir Wine Dates. Taking away their Private Jet Tax Rebate is the height of Socialism! They are due the adulation and applause.

The Tea Party, whatever it was originally supposed to be, was immediately co-opted by the 1% and used to attack Federal Government programs which aid the poor. Look at their targets: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, Unemployment Coverage, Pell Grants, Unions, Healthcare coverage for all Americans. Look at what they ardently defended: Capital Gains Tax Rates, Corporate Subsidies, Welfare for the Wealthy.

Everything the Republicans, "business friendly" Democrats and conservatives support are policies designed to use the power of the Federal Government to funnel money to the 1%.

Reagan wasn't the beginning, but he ushered in this Era of Deregulation and Corporate Control of Government and Bush wasn't the end. But, after the 2010 elections the Rich believed they had purchased enough politicians to deal crushing blows to the 99%.

And that is why the We are the 99% movement is causing so much anger amongst the Plutocracy. Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Together are standing up to their evil pernicious plan to subject us to Corporate Feudalism and Wage Slavery.

But, it won't be easy.

At first, the 1% were sure the rapidly approaching bad weather would disapate the Protesters, but then the rains stopped in Chicago and the protests started in other cities!

"I think they're really touching a nerve. The nerve is the average American understands that as a result of the greed and the recklessness and the illegal behavior on Wall Street, these guys plunged us into the horrendous recession that we're in right now," Senator Bernie Sanders.

Already incensed the Wall Street Criminals directed their Billionaire Mayor Bloomberg in New York to crush the OWS via tactics of the 19th century Pinkertons and the NYPD dutifully carried out the orders. Of course, the fact that JP Morgan Chase bank "donated" 4.6 million dollars to the New York City Police Foundation has nothing to do with Police tactics in New York.

The 1% are going to continue to try divide the 99% and play us off against one another. They are going to continue to throw a slightly larger crust of bread to their paid for Politicians and Law Enforcement Officials. They have the Guns but We got the Numbers!

Remember the Occupy Together movement is True Grassroots! Get out and support them. Attend a Rally! Offer legal or financial support to them when the illegal mass arrests begin. It's as simple as President Bush declared, 'You either Stand with the Plutocratic Terrorists or You Stand with the 99%!'

Peter Roskam called me the other day about the job-killing EPA

While relaxing at home one evening, my antiquated landline rang. Why whomever could it be calling me on this line? I wondered. It was Republican Illinois House member Peter Roskam conducting a Telephone Town Hall Meeting

Roskam does these phone call "town halls" where the listener can listen to Roskam speak to people or, if they are so inclined, press the pound key to be transferred to a staffer to screen a question for Representative Roskam. I did so and told the nameless staffer I'd like to ask Representative Roskam a question about his yes vote for HR 2018, A Republican House bill in which 223 of 236 (94.5%) of Republicans voted to eliminate the Clean Water Act of 1972.

Representative Roskam took my question. I told him in light of the egregious and on-going dumping problem by the BP plant at Whiting Indiana how did he feel it was a responsible position to vote to eliminate the Federal Government's power to regulate and stop Corporations from polluting and put that power in the hands of the States, when his constituents' drinking water was directly affected by another State Government's decision.

For reference, the Indiana State Government voted to allow BP to ignore the EPA and the Clean Water Act on the amount of Mercury it dumps into Lake Michigan. Mercury is toxic substance to humans that once it enters the human body can not be gotten rid of and leads to heavy metal poisioning*. The reason we Chicagoans can not eat Lake Michigan fish? Too much Mercury. The BP Whiting Indiana plant also dumps a dozen toxic byproducts of oil refining, including benzene, toluene and suspended solids containing mercury, lead, nickel and vanadium

The BP Whiting Indiana plant has a history of flouting EPA regulations and dumping huge amounts of toxic pollutants into our air and drinking water. And while in 2007 the Indiana Government was paid off to state BP would self-regulate and was working within Federal guidelines, the truth is BP was blatantly polluting the Lake.

In 2009, BP acknowledged that for the last six years its Whiting refinery violated federal pollution limits on benzene, a highly toxic chemical linked to leukemia and other health problems.

BP reported that it had processed too much benzene at the refinery's sewage treatment plant, about 15 miles southeast of Chicago.

Last year alone (2008), the company processed more than 95 tons of benzene waste -- about 16 times the amount allowed. BP also violated the 6-ton limit from 2003 to 2007.

Whiting Refinery was cited who violations of U.S. and Indiana EPA regulations in October 2008,

Federal regulators say BP PLC violated the Clean Air Act by beginning to make modifications at its Indiana oil refinery along Lake Michigan to process Canadian crude without the proper permit.

So, faced with the fact that his vote would allow a Corporation based in one state, in this case Indiana, to flout laws and regulations and directly harm the citizens of other states, Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan all draw water from Lake Michigan, how could he justify it?

Well, here's how all Republicans justify their actions, by anecdotal analogy. Peter Roskam related to me a story about how some nice small business in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois was hampered in their mechanical engineering designs by the over regulation of the EPA, which demanded they produce an engine type which they could not possibly produce thus causing the small business to fail. If there is one thing the Republicans do well it's stay on message.

The Republicans have been proclaiming the EPA kills jobs, and obviously Roskam's folksy aw shucks small business anecdote was unassailable and proved the Republican message. Plus this being a telephone conference, I was not allowed to ask a follow-up about his vote about the Clean Water bill, but that is to be expected.

Now, Representative Roskam seems like a nice moderate conservative, but it's his type and his willingness to go along with the Michele Bachmann's of the Party and their crazy, fringe, plutocratically controlled views, in this case "The Job-Killing EPA" and vote overwhelmingly for bills which are clearly harming the American people.
